There is a weird obsession with the feelings of players: Lin's feelings, Lin's and Parsons' feelings, McHale's feelings. Basketball is interpreted as a soap opera by some fans on this board who radiate angst and dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, the Rockets have the most exciting team since about 2005! And this is a great season so far! But this board is so negative, as if we were the Kings or something.

Im just wondering, what would be Daryl's reaction to McHale's "extreme" decision by not playing 2 starters for the whole quarter? not to mention, the starters were doing fine and the sub did terrible and also, its been a few times? is there any interview on this?
If you have Lin on the team, you pretty much have to deal with it all the time. It was the same when Lin was in NY last season. Maybe even worse, because NY's fanbase is larger and NY media always try to stir things up. Back to topic, I hope I didn't read too much here. " I feel like, in the time that I’m out there, I’m playing my brand of basketball so I’m happy about that and whatever time I get I just have to keep playing the way I play. " Does McHale think Lin's brand of basketball is the right way to go? Is this one of the reasons he got benched? I certainly hope it's not the case. The coach and players shoud be on the same page if we want to win.
