you would have to be an idiot if you think Lin is really OK with being benched in the fourth. lmfao

This is why I like Lin, as much as I hate LOFs.

Lin did has a tone, you 'd be outright dumb if you can't see it in between the lines, but he put it in a very candid n professional way.

However I dont know if Lin is gonna be fine, at least not here, apparently McHale doesnt see Lin as the future of this franchise. I'm almost certain one of them will be moved in a year or 2.

Shows how disciplined he is compared to lowry or other players, shoot not even our own coach can resist being snarky.

Lin was playing good, he was scoring more while Harden is injured, that's what he needed to do.

He said what any smart person would say in that interview if they wanted to keep their playing time. That doesn't mean what he said was true, I'm sure he is pissed.

The fact is that Mchale sat Lin and Asik to long and we lost the game. I usually try not to get on Mchale but what a dumb ass move that was.

I'm still giving McFail the benefit of the doubt, but you are certainty right if this continues to the end of the season and next year (if both are still here). Morey will have to really convince Les to let Lin go again this time so my bet is going to be McFail.

In all fairness to Jason Friedman who wrote the article, he himself was questioning McHale's decision of benching both Asik and Lin in the 4th Q last night in his twitter. I guess Jason probably feels for Lin too, that's why he interviews Lin. Of course Jason probably got so many questions from fans on that decision that putting Lin's own words out there is a way to respond to all those fans. That's my take on his 'Lin quote' situation. :p

You can hate Lin fanatics, but you can't seriously hate Lin. Well said, Jeremy.

    Ride with the hot hand?
how many PBev has scored in the last few minutes?

Of course, Lin has to say the right thing.

    100% Mchale should leave.
He always complains too many young players.
He is not a fan of fast paced offense, and wants a big guy to play his offenses.

As Morey said, he and the coach are not always on the same page.
After getting 4yr extension, he gets more power to get the coaching staff follow him.

Lin was being professional and not whinning to the media for not playing in the 4th Qtr, but you can read between the lines that he doesn't agree with the decision. "It is what it is" . He probably has to deal with the same **** in the future games as long as we have the same coaches who don't really have trust in Lin's ability as a starting PG.
