Ugh.. not a very winnable game the way we have been playing. We'd be extremely lucky to go 2-0 in GS on the season.

    1. Rockets blow out the opponent.

    2. Good, but it's not the way I like to play. Let's make a change and see if we can get another win.

    3. Rockets are struggling.

    4. Rockets are losing to the worse teams in the league, let's experiment with new rotations and use some sparks.

    5. Rockets are in a losing streak. Oh no, let's watch the tapes and find out what's in our winning streak.

    Go back to 1.

Just got a pair of tickets too. First row baby! (Well, "Row 1" which I think is about the 8th row from the floor.) Excited about my first Rockets game.

Key here imo is Jack. If he struggles then their whole team struggles..

lol mcfail is an idiot coach but nobody is so stupid to make it sooo obvious as to bench Lin in the fouth quarter two games in a row. Lin will probably play most of the fourth quarter and all of the LoHs will come out and say "told you mcAwesome is fair"!!

Or if he's a true LOH, knowing there will be tons of LOFs coming out...he might stick it to them and sit Lin out in the 4th again.

We lost to Dallas in the last game but in the coach's book, it's a close game. So I guess the coach is not going to change anything from the last game.

Rockets field a team of players that have never played together.
Rockets go through tremendous growing pains and can't really find anything that works on the road; coaches search for answers and try many rotations.
Various role players begin to step up, Rockets begin to win a lot at home and become competitive on the road. Rotations become more set. Fans begin to clamor for minutes for the D-Leaguers.
Rockets begin outperforming all expectations, get labelled surprise team of the year because they MIGHT make the playoffs.
GM trades away 4 players from a 9 man rotation. Fans universally praise his brilliance claiming he is a lock for GM of the year and in the same breath begin to castigate the head coach because he doesn't have any set rotations.

Wishing injury on players isn't my thing, but looks like Gortat is out for several weeks so Rockets might have a good chance to clean up these two road trip games.

I would respect coach McHale to bench Lin again for the 4th Q with no reasons in a national broadcast game (ESPN). Go ahead.
