    Congrats to Morey...well deserved sir!

Now finish off those brilliant moves for the team with two more this offseason, a second superstar and a superstar coach!

I read "McHale" and nearly had a heart attack.

This, obviously, is much better haha

I think it should get stickied once it actually happens (next year?)

Right now its a verbal agreement, even if there's just 0.02% chance they renege on it.

Was the same with Aaron Brooks signing, it got stickied once it was done.

    With shoes, of course.

He is only 269.5 without shoes.

Wing span, time in the 3/4 court sprint, standing and running vertical were the lowest ever recorded at the combine.

My guess is that Les and Morey are thrilled with the job McHale has done. I believe McHale has two years left on his current contract, and I don't see him getting fired anytime soon. As a matter of fact I think McHale has a chance at being named NBA Coach of the year for the outstanding job he has done.

Now let's just trade Les Alexander

Really? Les is the best owner any major Houston pro team has ever had. I'm happy with Les. He spends, invests in the team, hire's innovative basketball mind in Maurry and he stays out of the basketball decisions. What don't you like?

He needs to work out with Olajuwon this summer. Or with anyone really. Or even just by himself.

QFT. Some fans who love to complain about [whatever] like to make the team owner the scapegoat when the team isn't winning at a high level.

I have rarely (if ever) had any issue with Les Alexander's decisions as owner. And saying that "he doesn't spend" is both ludicrous (he does spend) and ignorant (there are SALARY CAP RULES that restrict spending or otherwise would limit flexibility to make more important moves later).

(It's like when my little sister--who had been programmed to think 80s singers who colored their hair were shallow and incapable of creating quality music--claimed that Cyndi Lauper was trash, without even realizing all the great songwriting she had done. After educating herself about Lauper, she quickly retracted her statement.)
