Vince Young should have taken his talents to the CFL and worked on improving his weaknesses. His major weaknesses being his attitude and poor work ethic. He needs to arn another shot not having it handed to him because he's VY. Having his way is what put Vince in the situation he's in today.
Sadly, somebody will probably take a flyer on him as a 3rd stringer. It's funny what happens to people when they are broke (and I say this from experience). His "friends" are gone and the partying has ended. He needs to hit rock bottom and maybe he'll grow up... I say maybe because I give it a 2% chance of actually happening.
I don't know how this isn't rock bottom. From a pro bowl to out of the league in three years. That is pretty hard drop.
What's the latest? Just accept coaches have way too much power & get a pass when players don't. I mean fischer gets to move on without any repercussions, yet VY is the one who gets blackballed across the entire NFL, & now forced to make this fake public apology to fischer in hopes of getting it lifted?! Sickening.

^thank you. Especially with the direction offenses are going lately, if VY is where he needs to be march 26, surely nfl teams will no longer be able to ignore him vs. some of the qb's they have out there now, much less back ups.
You can directly blame Mack Brown for this. He required no discipline out of VY and just let VY run around and improvise while at UT. The guy also never even went to class. Blame Mack.
yes i just blamed fisher for vince going broke, vince throwing interceptions in philly everything. really can you ****ing read, really? what else is vince supposed to say, he is trying to get back in the league, yes he was immature with the titans, that doesn't absolve fisher. fisher has a job, vince doesn't guess who's falling on his sword
not really, he and Mack had their run ins as well and Mack didn't like his work ethic either. fact is, he was a tremendous athlete and everything came easy to him. With that, he never had to work for anything nor did he really care to. Maybe he should have started a thread on how not to be lazy.
It's a hard fall, but I'm not so sure it's rock bottom yet. He needs to do more talking with his actions. Vince Young check list to getting back in the game: 1. Seek mental health counseling. Change priorities in life. 2. Get back into prime shape. Lean the F out. 3. Stay away from friends that leech and mooch. 4. Football study 24/7
Actually I like what VY has to say in this video. He seems sincere and you can hear some pain in his voice. The guy took everything for granted and he lost it and now he's learned his lesson and wants to make it right. I'm pulling for Vince. I hope he gets another chance. Mack didn't do him any favors though. The guy was a loose cannon coming out of college and he scored a whopping 6 on the wonderlick with that UT athletics education.
