McHale said he was reacting to Mav's small rotation.
    What a loser mentality!!!
Why didn't he go big with Asik and let them adjust?
    McFail doesn't have a brain.

No question T-Rob and Bev were playing good.
But McFail must go for "better".
Super McFail always satisfy with mediocre and didn't have a ball to initiate and change things up. His excuse was Mav was going small. What a looser. Rockets should have gone BIG and let Mav to adjust instead of we always reacting to others. PROACTIVE!!!! Not REACTIVE!!!

That sums up McHale's coaching pretty well.

that's an excuse if it's late in the game or if they're hacking. What does that have to do with Asik not getting in the entire quarter? Poor ft shooting warrants the benching of the entire 4th quarter?

Think about it this way....going 1-2 from the line is better than Asik not grabbing the offensive rebound, or drawing the loose bal foul to begin with is it not??

I'm a HUGE McHale detractor but I found his rotations pretty defensible last night re: Asik. Robinson basically shut down Wright who was straight murdering O and Omer's free throw shooting was hurting us more than usual. But Lin was playing great and should've certainly got some burn. Nevertheless the non stop iso plays is what did us in, not the rotations.

You over-complicated how he actually coaches but otherwise very well done.

Asik should always be playing in the most important situation of the game. Do you guys remember last year when we were in the playoffs but had a losing streak and missed the playoffs? It happened because Mchale when small with Scola and Patrick Patterson in the final minutes of the game or most part of the game. We needed size and Camby and Dalembert were at the bench. I know Camby was hurt but Dalembert wasn't. It pissed me off so bad watching Patrick Patterson playing center and failing miserably last year. And it's happening again this year. I can understand Beverly playing because he helped the team comeback, but your best defender Asik, your seven foot center should ALWAYS BE playing the final 6 or 5 minutes of the 4th quarter, PERIOD. NO DELFINO, NO 5'2 MIDGETS PLAYING PF AND CENTER!!!!!!!!! AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
    Bring Stan Van Gundy!!

The reason we had non stop iso plays is because of the rotation. Guys were standing around & watching because they know Harden is a less of a willing passer than Lin. Lin gets defended A LOT more aggressively than Beverly so the defense isn't on there heels as much.

The non-stop iso plays are directly related to having Lin sit. Hardens been playing like hes injured and he's been deferring to Lin much more than usual, and Harden would be more effective with another creator on the team. McHale put Harden in a bad spot and noone to pass it too. Parsons barely even touched the ball in the end let alone shoot a shot. The worse thing of all is that McHale probably still doesn't know why the ball is "sticky."

Watching the game through closed eyelids. Wow how delusional are you? You do know no one has ever won a game without scoring. Keep posting the same nonsense, it only reinforces your standing at the bottom of the intellectual totem pole. You're right about one thing - we don't like McHale as Rockets coach. But then again, a broken watch is right if but twice a day.

I think the damage is really not about a couple or dozen of games anymore. McHale's ridiculous substitution really has the potential to ruin the chemistry of this young team, creating rift between players, and it may well have already done some damage.
