Ummm, your thread makes it obvious you just made a thread to bitterly make an attack on another poster. I watched every bounce of the ball in that game. If you think you're so right, and everyone in the Rockets organization is wrong about who did the bulk of work on Dirk, go ahead and post me some stats. Until then, keep being the guy who makes angry threads and contributes very little in terms of positive discourse regarding the team.

    Sorry, it was unintentional.

    The real question is

How many games we would have won if D-mo started from the beginning of the season?

Actually his post was entirely correct. He said when we pulled away (the start of the 3rd) Chandler was guarding Dirk - not even debatable. I mean, I just watched the first play out of half time and guess who is guarding who???? Chandler came out with about 3 minutes to go in the 3rd when we had a 24 point lead. Keep arguing just to argue though chief.

No, in fact the more I re-watch this game, the more funny the position that you all are taking is becoming.

While Chandler was guarding dirk for the most part when donatas did get switched on dirk I thought he did a good job crowding him and forcing him into harder shots.

But personally I think as long as dmo boxes out his man and keeps people off the glass he will be fine. The pf position aside from a few select players tends to have weak defenders in today's game.

Look at David Lee, Kevin love, Blake griffin all of these players are considered all stars yet they play horrible defensively. But what keeps them on the floor is their offense and rebounding. This is especially true for David Lee, the man is a HORRIBLE defender. I mean he makes dmo look like Kevin Garnett.

Uhh T-Rob took D-Mo's minutes because Motiejunas was a frickin Revolving door on defense he either fouls or gives up a easy layup SMH. While T-Rob actually played defense and helped the rockets get back into the game when he played through defense and hussel.

IJS I like D Mo but he is gonna lose his spot if he doesn't step up his defense

In fairness, DMo was pretty bad last night. He looked like he was just too amped up or something but he was constantly getting himself in the wrong spots.

His pick and roll coverage was the main reason why he was pulled early. Carlisle game planned for the 4 man to show hard on the screen, and had prepared their offense to take advantage of the the hard show to get Marion easy looks at the basket.

Going small with Delfino/Garcia gave better footspeed to get back on Marion. Also T-Robinson's P&R defense was much better than D-Mo.

Was pretty impressed with his defense last night. He has a tendency to go flat footed(mostly bad team habit), but has great potential to be just as good as Patterson on team defense, and can add a ton more to table with great rebounding, and some shot blocking.

I think D-Mo will defend much better in the future. I dont think he needs to show as hard on the P&R with his size, needs to stay lower, and get smarter... Something that comes with experience, and practice.

Im speaking of Patterson's best assets which was his P&R defense, and team coverages. That was what I was referring to, and the reason why he was a coaches dream player.

Joking right? DMO wouldn't get back and his man got easy buckets. And he wasn't hitting his shots. We took the lead with TRob and that lineup out there.
