So you need to see the post comparing Lin, Harden, Delfino and Beverley FG%/3pt% with 5 min left in game.
nobody tells you that offense should go through asik. i just cant understand that offense fetish. did we had even 1 post play after asik subbed? all i saw was heroball and almost half court shots made by parsons. btw nowitzki scored 9 in 4th. making sf to guard a talented 7ft guy is just genius. yea yea we played great all game. our offense flow was beautiful. it is all on asik for not making ft's. and he also cant hit 3's. what a scrub right?
Seriously McFail needs to go. The Rockets are down and they bench Lin who was making 50% of his shots for Beverly who scored 0 points smh
Mchale is the worst coach ever...I've given up on him when he handed us defeats for games we coulda won. If we had an average level coach, we would have probably won at least 6 more games than lost.
LOL McFail's addiction to small ball. Down 25-23 before the end of the 1st quarter and on a run, he goes really small with Delfino at the 4 guarding Dirk and TRob at the 5. No interior scoring, no rebounding, just jacking up 3's Result: End the first quarter down 34-25 The fool never learns
And I have no clue what this fool has against Lin and Asik but we play best when they are on the floor. About 24 mins for each? What a joke!!
WOW! Mchale has no trust in his two starters!! Asik and Lin, can't believe he sat the both of them down to effectively give the game away. Man, I don't see any other coaches doing that to two starters who had actually played well in the game itself. It's not as if both TRob and Patrick were on fire and Lin and Asik were stinking it up...
Definitely fire the guy!! Useless. Keep your faith with the guys, that you've been playing on the court all season.... Asik has been beasting all season, and just because they've got Brendan Wright whos a "funky matchup"... WTF is that suppose to mean.... Also Trob sets piss poor picks....get Asik out there with his widebody... Carlos was on fire first half, and in second half Mchale played Francis Garcia too much, eating into Delfino's minutes, and when that happens he tried to do too much like creating which is always a bad idea... FFS, Machale, this is your end of game rotation: LIN Harden Parson Delfino Asik All of them are Shooters and penetrators, and they all play D except for Harden. Rely on Asik, parsons for Boards, cus no one else really boards anyway...(Lin is actually quite a good rebounder for a guard, along with Patrick Bev..)
Funny, Rockets best defender Asik was put back in during last min of the game for whopping 2 sec!!! What a loser coach. You are super McFail!
Let me tell you why the coach is responsible for the lose: 1) Rockets are good up and running team, which starts from Asik's rebound. If you don't give Asik a minute in 4th quarter, you are a below average coach. 2) In half court offense, we have too many forced shot in low percentage. 3) every team in the league are studying how to stop Harden, and most of them succeeded if we play half court offense. They are able to defense Harden since it is slow down. 4) Harden is most efficient player in the fast break system. But we let him play in slow pace half court game.
I would love to hear Morey give a rational explanation as to why Asik and Lin sat on the bench the Whole 4th. I have looked at it multiple ways and it just doesn't make sense. Beverly is a good player...he couldn't hit the side of a barn in the 4th. It screwed up the penetration/ ball movement as well. I just want someone to offer me a different way to digest this strategy.
Funny thing is if McHale didn't have these 4th quarter brain farts all the time, he would be in serious contention for coach of the year. He's screwing himself here too. How can he not see that?
McHale's hands were tied down the stretch last night. How could he play my favorite players, Asik and DMo, when their free throws and D, respectively, were killing us all night long? I thought Bev and TRob were doing good work on D, so I can see why he stuck with them. Sigh... Sometimes McHale's just screwed, no matter what he does.
I watched most of McHale interview in the past. Nothing informative. Always babbling. Blaming on players instead of taking responsibility collectively.
