Obama will issue an executive order which will state all rocket games must be broadcast on public access tv.

Petiton, that's cute... I've got a better idea, anytime you see a Crane Logistics or Crane Freight truck around town... take a can of spray paint and write the words **** CSN on the side.

I unstuck this thread for awhile because we had a ton of sticky threads during and after the trade deadline, and the other CSN Houston thread had a link to it.

I appreciate studogg setting this up. This is absolutely for fans, period. This isn't for any other party's benefit -- the one and only goal is for fans to be able to see these games, however that happens the quickest. So my only suggestion is to make sure the language of the petition reflects that. It's a messy and complex situation where those parties stand to make millions upon millions, so, as everyone can see now, it's very easy for some angry individual to think your action (or even inaction) is for some other purpose.

While I think the Astros (majority owner) starting their season could be a force in getting a deal done soon, I remind myself that I felt the same way about the Rockets when their season opener approached. I'd hate to just sit on my hands and expect something to happen and be disappointed.

made some quick modifications - renamed, simplified, dropped the target to 10,000. Added Matt Hutchings name, but I will need to backfill the email addresses of the major providers president's/ceo's. Will do so as I have more time.

If anyone has feedback regarding the verbiage to simplify - please feel free to share your comments.

    Thanks stu.

Looks like a long hard fought battle all for nothing. I'm sure they'll cave once the Astros season begins.

Have you guys heard of Slingbox? That and a distant relative or friend with League Pass could be a solution.

Actually Slingbox plus someone with CSNHouston would be a pretty good solution. Its only 100 i think which is cheaper than League Pass.

I would sign but being in Austin I don't think my vote would count all that much.

If everyone could get Comcast, I might agree with you, but it's not available in many areas where the Rockets and Astros are covered. Many people on the forum have complained about being in that situation. Not to mention those who live in apartment complexes and don't have a choice on their TV provider.
