    Get a grip people.

    Yes, we lost to Dallas, not a game we wanted to drop. Yes, the Lakers won today, and inched closer.

    However, we're still 7th, still ahead of Utah, and the stinking Jazz STILL has a much much harder schedule remaining than us.

    We still control our destiny as far as 6th seed is concerned, we just need to take care of business at Golden State on Friday. Let's save the chicken little act for when we actually fall out of the playoffs please? So much negativity is such a small amount of fun.

    Yeah, we lost, but Cleveland beat the Jazz, so it's all squared away on that front. Now we NEED to beat the Warriors to make a statement - let's cheer for that hunger to result in a win?

    Hopefully we can close out the game against GSW by the fourth quarter otherwise the odds are stacked against us.

    We're 2-3 against below .500 teams recently. How's our easy schedule helping our odds if we continue to play like this?

    The Jazz are 1 win away from tying the Rockets although we have the 2-1 edge in wins versus them. If they beat us on the 20th then the Rockets would have to win more games than them to make the playoffs. They have more conference wins than us.

    The next game against the Warriors is important. We play them two more times this month. Let them and Utah battle for the 8th spot.

    There are just way too many games left to even feel safe, heck Dallas & Portland are not out of it yet, all it takes is a long losing streak or two shorts ones, and bam were out of it.

    While that is true, shouldn't we be looking ahead rather than whinging about the possibility of someone catching up?

    IMO team has done amazingly well to even be in the playoff frame, let alone having a shot of 6th seed on their own terms.

    Ok, if we don't make it, we don't make it - but I'd like to shrug off losses that don't rule us out of the picture and look ahead to bigger games (ie, Golden State on Fri)

    Honestly? At this point, I don't even care about the playoffs. Watching the coaching staff consistently doing the same stupid things over and over again almost makes me want to miss the playoffs and the probable one and done, just so that McHale has a greater chance of getting fired.

    I know I'll feel different tomorrow, but I'm just so teed off right now.

    Yeah, the good news is that we have a lot of easier teams coming up but if Rockets do not make playoff, it will be a good chance McHale will get pink slip. We still have a chance to move up to 6th place. I hope McHale learned from this that Asik and Lin should have played in 4th.
