I agree (possibly for different reasons than you); it's pretty much a "Jeremy Lin's a joke!!!" kind of thread. I think McHale screwed up this game and have doubts about his coaching in general but that's no reason to go crazy on the guy.
Missed Freethrows, yes! But why don't you ask rockets kept feeding Asik when he could shoot a free throw? Is it not a coach's job to realize that actually stopped the flow of offense and enlarged the deficit?
That is the why McFail played them 15 minutes straight? Turns spark plug into closers in close game? I think you have seen enough NBA games to understand what usually happens in NBA is bench provides a lift and then starters go back in to close out the games. Sure, You know the differences. What MacFail did to Lin is highly unusual. Consistently benching starters in 4th quarter doesn't happen very often in this league. You just have your own little bias to ignore that.
We part ways with our last three HOF coaches and so far are sticking with a guy that has yet to win anything.
LOL@all these vets crapping on the OP and McFail. Sucks your flop ass troll thread didn't turn out the way you wanted it duluth111222
Are you aware that we went to halftime down by 4 and that we entered the 4th quarter down by 4 as well? Maybe you might wanna review the play by play.
Every time. Don't know why he has it. He doesn't use it for sure. Since every single time out, the play is four-flat on the baseline with Harden at the top.
A close up of his play Did that really need to be drawn? Must've done it to throw off the Mavs and make them believe we would actually run a play.
I like "McEpicFail" as the coach's new nickname. His motto? "By failing to (fire McHale), you are preparing to fail" Benjamin Franklin "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in (firing McHale)" Ralph Waldo Emerson. "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever (coach this year's team)" Robert Kennedy. "To err is human, to (fire McHale) divine." Alexander Pope "I would prefer even to fail with honor than to win by (letting Lin play the 4th quarter)" Sophocles. And finally: "I've not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Thomas Edison (should be Kevin McHale)
Exactly, usually I try to give him the benefit of the doubt but tonight was just ridiculous. What the hell was he thinking? I really like Beverley but it's so obvious the the offense runs better with Lin in the game. Just because he is all over his man doesn't mean that the team is playing better D, it's about not letting the other team score not just how much energy you spend harassing the other teams point guard.
