He does but 5-12 isn't that bad, and he got 12 pts on 5 shots. Even better he got 15 rebs the first 3 quarters. Inexcusable he sat the entire 4rth.

Oh, the one time when McFail should have stuck with Beverly was the Wizards game when Lin was sick as a dog, but McFail left him in, and PB was playing well that game. Point is that McFail has no clue how to coach...

Beverly needs to start ahead of Lin. He brings spark and elite defense. Also, he's much more consistent and a much better shooter than Lin.

Agree with the first part of your post about lack of ball movement when JLin sat but come on, Beverley is not trash. He played great defense and really hustled. In the end it would have been better to put Jeremy back in the game to generate better offense.

    I just love it....

So you think given our players and youth we would have done better than our record if we'd just mix it up with some plays at the end?

At least we now know what the standards should be for a Rockets starting PG is (at least according to LOH's):

    0 pts, 7 ast, 2 TO, 1 stl, and 1 blk

Don't worry, according to them, your 2007 join date makes you immune from being accused of being a LOF.

I liked Beverley before the last 2 mins of the 4th... then he, well, lack of experience I guess...

STILL, I really would have liked to see Lin and Asik closing the game. (Smh at iso hero ball out of a time out.)

At first I thought maybe McHale kept Lin on the bench in the 4th to match the Mavs sitting Mike James, and kept Asik out for a rest … apparently not.

Beverley brought the usual energy, but there was no scoring from him, and he looked like a pinball out there for a little while. I think it was a big mistake for coaching to keep Lin out the whole quarter, especially when he was shooting well and the game was still close. They should have brought both Lin and Asik back in at least for the 2nd half of the 4th.

Good facilitating game for Harden on a horrible shooting night, but having him play almost another 40 minutes, and again having him force the issue in the closing minutes, was just bad to watch. His final numbers looked good, but were really just wasted.

    Bad lost to stomach.
