We played pretty flat in the 1st Half, but all the close decisions went the way of Dallas tonight, no surprises there.

I hate losing. This win would've given us some extra breathing space.

Oh well, move on to the next one.

I agree to this! No ball movement when Lin is benched. Watch the 4th quarter again.

what are you talking about? bev was great he needs to be a starter asap! he moves the ball better, shoots the baller better, and does everything better then the scrub lin. we would have won if bev controlled the ball more!

I'm pretty sure both of T-Robs blocks came after the 5 minute mark. And they were both huge.

I'm trying to understand Coach McHale but sigh...really hard...

Maybe he is thinking that Iso'ing Harden at the last 6 minutes of the 4th will give him the WIN...and he doesn't need Lin to create an Offense for it will jeopardize his game plan thus going for Bev...

BUT...all teams knew this strategy...ALL...why on earth he keeps on doing this...this will only make Harden's game a lot harder...sighhhhhhhhhh...

Bev got us back in the game with great D but he should have been taken out once the offense began to stagnate.

Defensive intensity usually picks up in the last 5 minutes of the game so we needed our best players on the floor.

That OKC win a few weeks back never would have happened with the logic of some of the posters on here.

At least we see some hope in TRob tonight. Amazing athleticism.

this one is on mchale, dubious 4th quarter rotation. all this focus on defense, sure beverly played decent on D, but this is NOT rockets basketball. this is half court, iso plays after plays. give me lin run and gun, penetration and ball movement and a bit of gamble on home run plays.

Asik gets benched in the 4th for going 4-11 from the charity lin. Lin gets benched by going 50% from the field. McFail fails truly this time...I'm telling you if Lin doesn't get his stats in 25 minutes or less he's done. That guy needs to be colored blind so he will play Lin more....

It's been more than half a season and McHale has kept making the same mistake, terrible terrible rotation.

Yes, a typical troll who pretends to be a Lin fan. Don't fall for it.

    THIS!!!!!!!!!!

No plays. It's all on the players ability to beat someone off of the dribble one-on-one. I saw one nice play where Garcia rolled off of a down screen to hit an easy three. Why can't this happen more often? It facilitates scoring.

Quit b****ing about the coach. The reasons for the loss are typical: Harden didn't shoot great, Marion had a good game, Vince Carter and Dirk were shooting OK. These guys are not slouches. Rox just didn't play a perfect enough game.

You're acting like we were benching stars. They deserved to be out there for their play. Hell, they kept us in the game down the stretch

Dude, you have to look at it from both sides, otherwise you look like a ****ing idiot. Lin is in with both harden and asik, of course his assists and rebounds are lower. All of beverlys assists came with harden on the bench. Its really not complicated.

Beverley had a good game, Robinson had a good game, and honestly, I think it's a toss up in terms of keeping those guys in at that end. But, I don't that McHale so easily sacrifices interior defense and rebounding for the sake of setting rotations by feel.

And execution on the offensive end was horrendous. Harden wasn't getting anything on Marion at the end. Try something else.

    This.

Asik going 4 for 11 FT's meant it would've been a gamble playing him in the 4th. I know he's a center but there's no reason you can't go at least 70% from the line. Maybe I got spoiled by Yao who had the smoothest FT touch for a big fellow.

Don't really have to blame the refs on this one. The Lin 3 was a close call that could've gone either way.

Carter 3 was a good call, his feet were behind the line.

That last play did look like it went off Harden. If Marion had touched it, the ball would've changed trajectories. You could've possibly called a foul on that play though... But with 6 seconds left, refs wouldn't have called anything that wasn't totally clear.
