The bench did a good job of keeping us in the game. I think McHale kept delfino, beverely, and T-rob too long. Most experience coaches would have got the starters in by the 4:00-5:00 in the fourth.

 

Meh. Road games can be tough. Good thing Utah lost.
Still excited about our team. It's all good.

 

Back in the game doesn't mean the same lineup can push to win the game. Those are two different things.

 

these dallas commentators are really nasty. they celebrate when they see a bad call by the refs against rockets, it was pur torture for me to listen to them.

 

What would you have done differently?

 

Why does it seem like the refs/mavs people are the worst when it comes to giving us the short end of the stick?

MHale just benched Lin, the starting PG with 12pts for 0pts Beverley for 4 points loss to prove a point.

If HOU lost the playoff race by 1 game, this move will backfire on him.

ok, I would like to ask for the privilege that I can ask the question "why is Lin & Asik benched in the 4th quarter", without been marked ask LoF and hence draw your hatreds.
I only ask this question because it is a rare occasion in NBA that you bench 2 of your starters in the 4th quarter of a close game, and if that happens, it usually has better reasons (AKA better than your ****ty one)

 

Choked? It was a close game all fourth quarter, and we started the quarter down 4. When Lin checked out in the 3rd, we were down 7.

Choke would be an apt description for the Hornets tonight, however.

 

Seriously this, it's like Harden is the real coach of this team, calls off any play he wants, doesn't play a lick of D,gambles alot, messing up the rest of the rotations. There were so many plays in the 2nd and 3rd quarter where Haden was just stalling the ball and there was no movement.

I love Harden, but he needs to start being held accountable for his D. It makes me sick when he talks about D in his post game interviews, but he doesn't back it up.

And for FFS McHale, we have an athletic 4 now, run some simple pick and roll plays.

I agree. Offense was beginning to sputter - should have brought Lin back as well as Asik.

 

Why was Delfino still in the game when he played so poorly...?
No defense or offense in the 4th quarter. He shouldn't have been in the 4th quarter...

 

Asik need to work on his FT?? I don't think it matter...if you suck at the line, you suck at the line, there is nothing you can do about it. I think he did work hard at his free throws. That's one thing i don't like about Asik....everything is great except scoring...he's probably one of the worst in the league. As the game go on...i don't know if he gets tire or what...his free throws become erratic.

 

Lets see if we can go two posts in a row without you Lin morons screaming "Lin Lin Lin!!!!" Or "McFail!!!!"

Mayo's made some big shots down the strech, and they locked Harden down pretty good in the end. That's the difference. It sucks, but ..., better kill those warriors now.

 

Unreal, how can you not go back to your best lineup to finish the game? Beverly is a spark, not a closer. Bring in Lin.

TRob to finish it out? He provides no threat on Off, the just sag off of him, leaving Harden to play iso ball. Asik at least rolls to the basket.

Yeah Bev/Trob were playing great, but Mchale expected them to close out the game? F&*(
