Harden was on the court because he could score. Not because he was their defensive stopper. That role still belonged to Sefolosha.

And that's not saying that Harden's D was bad. Sefolosha's D was just better.

The Thunder starting unit with Sefolosha in it had a slightly better defense, but with Harden had a markedly improved offense. This is why Harden closed out games.

    bump.

my feelings on Westbrook have not changed. I don't think OKC will ever win a championship with him. I think the Clippers are going to take this series and it's going to cost Scotty Brooks his job. And I'm wondering if the next coach secretly demands that Presti trade Westbrook for a traditional point guard and a big time center.

Westbrook simply doesn't have the mentality it takes to compete under pressure and win. He may get lucky a time or two but not enough over the course of the playoff season to win. The boy is just stupid. Hate to say it that way. But watching this game tonight...he's just plain stupid. CP3 is in his head and CP3 has beaten him like Westbrook is a grade schooler.

WB isn't a good fit with Durant, but I'd rather have him than Harden. Give me a guy with Heart that puts it out on both ends of the floor.

He had a triple double in game 7. I guess you expect more under pressure.

I wish we had a pg like Westbrook, at least he has heart and plays d on every possession. I know he's a knucklehead but he's a game changer. I am not knocking on lin btw....If you catch my drift.

Funny thing about the Westbrook critics is OKC has never lost a series BECAUSE OF WESTBROOK.

First round. I really don't expect more from Westbrook. What I expect he'll do every time is come up with 2 or 3 world beater crazy stat line games and then he'll break down on a bunch of stupid decision-making plays and cost OKC the opportunity to win a championship.

He simply isn't intelligent enough nor calm enough under pressure to guide a team to a championship. Trying to corral his game for the betterment of a team is like trying to catch a deer. You can't do it.

You know...I acually asked myself if I would do that trade if I were Morey. I suppose I would just to have the opportunity to peddle Westbrook to Minny for Love. But to simply just trade Asik/Lin for Westbrook to ride on this roster....I actually wouldn't do that. I think Westbrook would hurt our offensive efficiency and take away from Howard and Harden.

You sure? A lot of people seem to think he's holding OKC back. Everytime they lose, it's all because of WB lol.

Name the series Westbrook has clearly cost the Thunder since he has been there.
