I wonder what will happen to Vick. he had that awesome season with the eagles then he just kept getting hurt.
this is the nfl with professional not daycare so i wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in to camp next year for a look just to have schaub looking over his shoulder. best case vince looks great, worst case you shatter matt's confidence and it seems we're already there. most likely vince looks meh you release him and matt's ass has a fire lit under it. keep in mind this can be said for any fringe veteran qb available on the market.
For all the people who blamed Fisher: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9023211/vince-young-sends-letter-apology-jeff-fisher
Do agree he deserves another shot...bc God knows that he sure as heck is better than Tim Tebow... Imagine if we can take Tim Tebow's drive and VYoung physical talent...we would have the ultimate QB...seriously...
Great analysis by skip bayless. Yeah, you're pretty much an idiot. Are you that stupid or blind? Great article by skip bayless. Might as well say great terrorist bombing at the us embassy.
i like fisher but he never wanted vince bottom line. he took every opportunity to bench. i'm more accepting of vince's fault that led to him leaving the titans but fisher didn't handle that well.
You're still blaming Jeff Fisher? Really? Even after VY apologized to him for being "immature and not paying attention and not listening". And not learning the playbook? How can a coach support a QB who won't learn the playbook? VY just wanted to run around and improvise like he did at UT which was a great fit for Mack Brown but Jeff Fisher is actually a real coach. No real coach would stand for that. Come on man.
watch out for trolls on this thread. kam is alright though, if he disses vince it's strictly from a texans/uh standpoint.
Fisher quitting on the Titans when he realized he couldn't win games without Vince was the ultimate irony. Sad. I really wanted to see him suffer, but after just three games, he bailed out because his image would be tarnished under what he created.
Props to VY for admitting his faults and immaturity. It sounds like he's really changed. I think a new team should give him a shot.... as a tight end.
