Hasn't missed a game due to injury since December 12, 2010 - nearly two full seasons.

And Bynum lasted through the playoffs, too. Not that 60-something games instead of 82 is much of a difference, but you have to tack on the postseason games to the total as well.

He's foul prone of defense late in a game and you can count on him to miss free throws too. Other than that bulls would have won that game. There are other reasons they lost too it's a team game but I know McHale saw this and it showed him how not to use Asik and what to expect.

He's only played a full season once in 7 years .. He made it through a strike shortened season, but he'll inevitably break down, probably sooner than later. Not the player to invest max money and our future on... why the hell do you think the lakers are so willing to move him.

They're willing to move him because they're getting one of the top three players in the world. Otherwise, they're not.

Why the hell was he at the line? We're not bringing him in to drain game sealing FT's.

I'm sure Mchale saw Courtney Lee miss a game losing lay-up in the finals, but, he still had him out there to close plenty of games.

You mean how they've refused to move Bynum for years?

I went through the first 10 pages with the multi-quote feature. IIRC some Bulls fan came in around page 15 and said Asik was garbage and that we would regret this move.

    cardpire is/was a terrible poster.

I voted YES. I think we should sign Asik for that amount of money

8mil a season seems low now actually, Dwight is getting about 17mil a season now. So thats more than double the amount, yet Asik have +17EFF, while Dwight +21EFF.

Funny to see some of the comments after the fact. It was obvious who the Morey haters were by reading some of those.
