    Filipino people do, thus, the "they're playing in the Philippines because Filipinos feel like they have some ethnic connection with Jeremy Lin" statement doesn't hold weight.

    Can't wait to see them play! Hopefully, we'll also get to see whoever the Rockets will sign in the off-season. Expecting that ticket prices will be expensive but it'll be worth it! Any other Rockets fans planning to catch the game or willing to meet up in Manila? Drop me a message.

    As a Filipino, I feel the need to post. Filipinos love basketball. With that being said, China already has NBA talent playing in their leagues, Japan has 0 interest in Basketball, and the other countries in the surrounding areas aren't really interested. I am glad the Philippines and Taiwan will get to see an NBA game in person.

    Also, I am waiting for the first Indian born athlete to play in the NBA. Hamed Haddadi does not count as he is from Iran. I am talking Pakistan, India, or Sri Lanka.

    Not Filipino, but I've seen how much Filipinos love the game of basketball. Their interest in the sport goes beyond the support of just one player, so there's a reason why a lot of NBA-related events have been held in the Philippines, like the NBA Legends game and the exhibition games during the NBA lockout.

    Filipino chicks are so hott.

    Apart from a few, that kinda looks like they got the ****ty end of race mixing. Where you're kind of looking at them and its kinda wtfs going on with your face.

    Soccer is popular because it's a sport that anybody from any country can be competitive in. Unlike basketball, you don't have to be 7 foot tall or jump out of the gym to kick a soccerball.

    At last, they are coming here. I finally get to see Houston in the flesh. Although I have always hoped in seeing Yao and Tmac play together.

    Some parts of Manila are still down in dirt poor poverty and there are people who live in cemeteries because there are nowhere else to go. And since basketball is one of our only outlets in life to help us get by thru the hard day...

    I don't see it. I have 15 Filipina cousins who all look different. So anytime I meet a filipina girl, I think wow, she looks a lot like my cousin. FML
