so at the game yesterday during a timeout, a fan had a chance to win a roundtrip to a pre-determined location (sponsored by united airlines). the contestant shoots free throws, and each free throw reveals a letter of the location. the guy was caucasian (mid-40s). he made 5 free throws and had the following: PANAM_ _ _ _ _. everybody was screaming, "PANAMA CITY!!!!!!!" but the guy confidently said, "PANAMA CANAL." panama freaking canal. and the letters don't even match. the crowd (myself included) then violently boo'd the crap out of that guy as he shamelessly walked off the court. i need a video of this for further enjoyment.

I was at the game, at first I thought he just stupidly said Panama Panama, but the guy next to me said Panama Canal. Are people really that stupid?
