At his best, Brandon Jennings would only be a marginal upgrade over Jeremy Lin, IMO. I'd MUCH rather simply hold onto Lin at $8.37 million per season than sign Jennings at (near) max money.
The bucks are crazy to have both Jennings and Monta on the same team chucking up shots like no tomorrow. Although Jennings has some athletic ability, Lin's a better floor general and contributor type PG, which fits better on this team. I don't think that's a good idea to get Jennings. I have him on my fantasy league and watched him on league pass, and he's not very fun to watch sometimes.
Jennings would be a downgrade from Lin even right now because he's not nearly as good of a passer. And going forward it'd be even worse cuz Lin will only improve
Here is my favorite search. Volume shooter (15 more shot a game) who shot under 0.50 TS%. A total 5 player show up and yes are 2 favorites bucks are on the list. Give a break to Mr. Love as he has been out on injury. http://www.basketball-reference.com...tat=&c5comp=gt&c6mult=1.0&c6stat=&order_by=ws
Lol Jennings homer; didn't think we'd get one on this board. Don't get me wrong, your man crush has the skill and athleticism to hang on a team. It's just that he'll never be a net positive to a team playing the way he does. I guarantee that if he leaves the Bucks, they'll immediately be better without him if he's replaced by some average boring PG like Kirk Hinrich. He's like a slower, less skilled Iverson who doesn't give nearly as much or as consistent effort.
