Still would have been a small blowout as well even if Chandler's made only half of his shots...everyone except for Delfino were contributing last night.

thats misleading. The team rode the hot hand. As Parsons kept hitting his shots they kept going back to him. DMO only took like 6 shots and Omer was only scooping back put backs fro the most part. I agree that Harden was sluggish (he picked it up in the 2nd half though) but the team would've adjusted and gotten more touches for Lin, Dmo, delfino etc if Parsons wasn't 12/13. Just sayin'

Might have been a big blow out. The starters didn't play the entire 4th quarter...

Nice. We already have DMO, now MOD. Maybe we should get Lamar Odom and call him ODM.

Yesterday's game fascinated me. Not so much because we finally beat the Mavs "jinx," but because watching the new guys fit in was such a trip. Some observations... Asik seemed a bit unsure about Donatas intially after the trade. By the time yesterday's game ended, I think Omer realized that Donuts is a great fit next to him, that he makes his job a lot easier, and doesn't significantly affect the one thing about his game that I think he takes the greatest pride in, his rebounding. Asik is still getting his rebounds. Donuts is simply getting boards Patterson and Morris weren't getting to. Sure, probably an overly broad statement, but it was my impression during the game. Donatas seemed more comfortable as the game progressed. He's really starting to "get it" and that's got me really excited. Some of us have been waiting a long time to see him get his chance, and to see him get that chance and be this good is icing on the cake. If we're lucky with the "i" word from here on out, I can see Motiejunas and Asik becoming a devastating pair on both offense and defense. I recall at least one short pass inside from Donuts to Omer that resulted in a easy bucket. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of that. I'm hoping to see some assists from Asik inside to Motiejunas at the corner for the 3. Good luck blocking the pass!

Robinson? He's starting to show us why Morey got him. If games like last night become the norm, we'll be trying to remember the names of the two 4's we dealt for him, and the pg/sg that was tossed into the deal. Garcia gives us another weapon with which to spread the floor, one that replaces at least one aspect of TD's game we valued, and he's a heck of a lot taller. Still don't have a clue as to how The German will pan out, but hope he's a surprise, in a good way.

Hey, we beat the Mavs. I'm happy!

Uh, the little voice in my head while watching the games? It isn't a big deal to me. Why would it be a big deal to you? It's called an "impression."

Who said I was making it a big deal? I was just curious why you felt that way. I typed 8 words, don't understand how those 8 words gave you the impression that I was making it a big deal I was just genuinely wondering.

OK, roxxy. My impression since the trade was that Asik wasn't sure about Motiejunas playing next to him. That he didn't seem to be comfortable with the guy. During the course of yesterday's game, I got the impression that Omer's opinion changed. I've watched the game twice on my DVR, and I still have that impression. Sure, it's probably just me, but there you go. And that has me excited about the two playing together, more than I was prior to last night.

Fair enough. I was legitimately just curious. I was wondering if Asik or one of the Rockets beat writers or the coaches alluded to something that I missed. No worries. But yeah Asik & d-mo could be a nice tandem in the front court if Dmo can be consistent defensively. That is key for us. Something I love about our starting line up is that every player has legit passing abilities. Lin harden Parsons Dmo Asik are all pretty decent passers. That really helps ball movement which is something that we will need against teams like GSW & the Clippers. Particularly the clippers.

Really good to hear that about the new guys. I missed the game last night. Will watch it tonight.

Could not be happier for T-Rob and Donuts, and think they will be great. But do hope TJones finds a role somehow too. It must have been hard for him being the only player present without minutes.
