Wait a minute: "bullying" is most often applied to relationships among supposed equals or kids. Royce White is being paid millions of dollars to pay for the Rockets. While the Rockets knew he was talking about mental disability, White also knew very extremely clearly what playing in the NBA meant. He signed a multimillion dollar contract. We can talk about how he is upholding his contract or exhibiting good faith without bullying. If you claim that he never knew what signing with the Rockets entailed, then I guess he must be child-like rather than disabled. We on a website "bullying" a player who is getting paid millions to (attempt to) play in the NBA, come on. Go try and bully him: he will laugh in your face if not beat you down.

Sigh...he's also driven to games in college. Are you just not able to think dynamically? And understand what anxiety disorder is?
Use Google. Or read books. Or just stop being dumb.

How many? 2, right? He drove to two games at ISU.

The guy is a prima donna - who can't understand why the NBA won't bow down to his unrealistic demands, because all the other coaches from AAU to college did.

He is just not that good at basketball - on an NBA level - just cut him loose.

Nobody ever questions his ability to facilitate but that is not what a PF supposed to do... he does rebound and does not back down thats a positive but I don't think he is at an NBA level now... he is playing average in the Dleague.... he has average DLeague skills out of shape or not.

Wow...you know that from 2 Summer League games, the preseason, and four D-league games? Let's just see how it goes the rest of the season and in the offseason and let the professional talent evaluators make a decision. If it doesn't work out...then it doesn't work out.

The fact that he drove to a few games in college does nothing to refute what I said.

As for your petty insults, I deem them worth 3 rolleyes: :rolleyes::rolleyes:

No, I know it because he flew his butt to Las Vegas for the summer league then signed a contract, found out that he was not all that, and then refused to report to training camp.

Then sat out for nearly 3 months spewing venom at the org that took a chance on him and then reported to the Dleague and sucked ass.

I want him gone from my favorite team he is NOTHING special, and is a distraction and a fraud, IMO.

Royce would be getting a lot more sympathy if he didn't insist on tweeting idiotic drivel. #BeWell

Keyword there: imo. I would like to see if he can help the Rockets in the future. It wont be this season but hopefully next year. They knew what they were getting. Once again like I said if it doesnt work out then thats the way it goes, I guess. Some of you guys act like he slapped your mama and kicked your dog.

see, this is one of the bad things about the whole internet age, if this was the 80s we'd waste so much less time on this whole saga. and actually focus on you know.. the NBA games and just let the Rockets sort it out themself with him.

Royce haven't made himself look good, but I get the strange feeling that most people have a rather unrealistic expectation of maturity levels a 21 year old player should exhibit just because he's an NBA player and not you average college kid that drink themself into a coma.

Good post. Seriously it's just a lot of arguing and no one ever changes any one else's mind. The kid's got talent-he's on our favorite team. Why would you want him to fail? But if he does it's not the end of the world.

I just hope he sticks with it. There is definitely some potential still lurking, but right now it's probably being overshadowed by prejudices of fans, teammates, and even coaches. Not that he didn't, in a way, bring it upon himself.

The other, probably underlooked, factor is that opponents are probably chomping at the bit right now to "put him in his place."

Even if he stuck with it, at some point the guy is going to flake out, and that is not worth the trouble.

What if he decides he is just not mentally capable of playing game 7 in the Western conference finals.

Sorry folks, that jet has flown for this fan !

Rarely agree with DD but White isn't worth all the hassle and he's likely always going to be somewhat unreliable.

More than likely you're right. But the Rockets are most likely not going to release him. Might as well hope for the best...

What i don't understand is, if he gets to the game on time, what the **** do you care how he got there? A forum full of people hating on White because he is going to the game differently than you would have. Grow up.

Yep, let's forget about the 4 months of games he missed.

So complain about him not going to the previous games then, or are you just admitting that he frustrated you earlier in the season so now you find things to complain about no matter how ridiculous because you are petty?

People here hold grudges for a long long time. It's almost comical. I'm curious to see how Royce White is doing - which is not well. But for me it is what it is. For others, they get so angry and worked up. It's fascinating. If you think he's not worth anything, why even bother posting or caring. He's on a dleague team after all.
