Assuming both players play to their potential (or whatever you think potential is), who would you rather have starting?

I think D-Mo fits this current team better, but my personal preference is T-Rob. The athleticism is :eek:, and I think he has a much better chance of developing into an athletic banger, which is my personal preference from a 4. D-Mo's not too shabby at all either and would be a GREAT fit for our current team.

Again, this is assuming both play to their potential, so yes you will have to be knee jerkish and extrapolate from small samples.

hmmmm.... Paul Millsap or Dirk Nowitzki?

I take Dirk every day of the week, twice on Fridays.

Aargh, this is how wars start in the forum lol, good intentions but I think the concensus should be D-Mo as the future starter, with T-Rob the 3rd big for awhile. Waaay too early to make any kind of judgement with these guys.

I think Pau Gasol is a more apt comparison for D-Mo. With some added strength he will have all the physical tools Gasol has.

Dirk is one of the greatest shooters of all time, D-Mo will never be that.

Just read the entire op brother, I'm talking strictly about talent level and what ones preference is. ;)

I was thinking a rich man's luis scola, who incidentally is a poor man's paul gasol, so you would be right :D

I like Motiejunas's talent level more. I think his upside is all-star.

Robinson seems more blue collar. He can still help you win games but more in an under-the-radar way. Less likely to be a star.

tbh Dmo. showed some really crafty offensive moves today. A far more refined player than I had imagined.

    D-Mo.

7 foot. Solid jumper. Insanely polished post moves at his age. Good court vision.

Yea. Omer shows flashes of brilliance, the guy had no offensive game at all last year. Really liked the way big men played today, Dmo just needs to work on rotation defense but he'll get used to that with more games under his belt.

I didn't see it, but I can definitely see D-Mo having that in his repetoire.

    D-Mo.

Legit 7' footers like him, that possess amazing offensive skills, don't come around often.

Hell, I think it's easier to find good defensive blue collar big men, then it is to find great offensive ones, let alone an offensively gifted 7'footer like D-Mo.
