Yeah, he didn't look so well in the summerleague also.

I was excited about White at first, but he struggles to beat his man and is undersized...and unlike Trob isn't a great leaper with a 7 foot wingspan...doesn't have much of a jumpshot.

I just don't see this NBA thing working out for White, it's early but he just looks so slow.

It shows that Mchale does not have trust issues with Lin. I think he is still trying to find the best way for the backcourts to work together. I now have more confidence in Mchale's coaching capability not because of the wins, but because the players are improving after they make mistakes. His substitution is still not consistent and his use of Harden still gets me worried. It also remains to see how he can work with a SUPERstar with an ego if we end up getting one for the next season.

Reporter: How would you describe Chandler's performance holding Dirk to 8 points?

McHale: Dirk holds himself to 8 points.

MCHALE must hate Parsons! Trade Parsons to the Lakers, he deserves to be on a better team.

Thanks for the response. I think overall talent wise White has a lot more potential than fans give him credit for. Judging him based on his D-Leauge play right now after he hasn't played any basketball for months now I don't think is particularly fair. But I have been a White fan for a while now so maybe I am biased. But I think based on pure talent alone (disregarding minutes) White has more potential than Jones. I do agree with you that D-mo has a higher ceiling than Royce namely because D-mo doesn't have that off court stuff. Also D-mo has a strong focus, sometimes I question Royce's focus.

Im pretty ecstatic about how both our rookie PFs almost got Double-Doubles.

Parsons wow what a game man.

Im starting to like how McHale is using the PG's on the team both Lin and Patrick are getting equal minutes which is great IMO.

I guess this was Carlos's rest day haha Cabeza

and im surprised Asik only got 10 boards loool

From tonights interview of McHale he recognizes what Jeremy's high end ceiling is and that Jeremy is capable of sustaining that high level. But like a lot of young guys its inconsistency also. I think its a rebuilding year, they have been emphasizing that Lin improve his weakness or perceived weakness and give the Kid credit, baring ankle sprain the last few games he has. Lets move forward, the kid proved his ceiling in games this season and this game with the Mavericks, he spurred the Rockets comeback and kept them in the game till it was blown open. Harden was struggling, Lin was beasting it up and Parsons was perfect, Harden got his J going in the 3rd and it was all over..... the top 3 offensive players for Houston were going and no team is keeping up with that offensive explosion.

That has to be the best most positive compliment he has ever given lin ever.

Just saw that interview. Must say, I was surprised. I'll be eating crow tonight, I guess, but gladly. As long as we win, and we're playing at our potential, it's all good.

Interesting stats from the Maverick's board (unverified).

Despite the small sample, I find the on-the-ball/off-the-ball offensive/defensive efficiency columns interesting.

No worries. McHale does some dumb things but his comments about Lin for the most part are nothing but complimentary. And even when Lin has bad games McHale is pretty fair in his commentary.

    A few observations:

    1. Clutch fans argue too much with each other.
    2. Too many kneejerking reactions. One good play a player is an all-star, a bad play he is a scrub.
    3. On an "off night", Harden managed 21 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds on 10 shots and 30 minutes play. He is a true super star player.

You are sooooo right. When they outscored their opponents, the Rockets has yet to lose.;)

It was great to see sings of defensive improvement from DMo, and even Robinson as well. It gives me hope.
