you can't compare the 2 at all... the inmates tried to kill rick. the people in the bar weren't going to leave peacefully with rick not telling them where their camp was. the marines weren't hostile at all. the gov' came in all friendly and shot them for their supplies.
I don't really get all the complaining. This isn't an action show, and if all it was about was killing zombies it would get pretty repetitive. In fact it's quite interresting how the show has shown that living humans in this world are to be more feared than the zombies themseleves. This episode, imo, was one of the stronger ones this season despite little to no action. A lot of good character development; Hershel and Merle, Carl and Rick, Michonne and Andrea...all their conversations were engaging. And it's probably the first time ever I started to sympatheize with Andrea. The end was just so perfect I thought. To see Rick's camp just teetering on the edge, just fighting for another day, in more ways than one...I just thought it resonated well. Will be interesting to see what happens with Tyrese and his group. Him and his sister I don't think would willingly give details on the prison if they knew the whole story. The other two, well I hope they take one in the head soon. Also glad to see Michonne get some dialogue.
Sometimes it can be cringe inducing, and the Woodbury scenes are rather slow. But I think they've done a much better job this season of writing better dialogue.
Serious question. Why does anyone watch the show if all they do is b**** and whine about every single aspect of the show? I agree it's not a perfect show like Breaking Bad. If you don't like the show why not just change the channel. Not every episode is going to involve 100 zombies getting their heads cut off, that would get boring real fast. Ever heard of character development?
There wasn't much whining during the first half of this season. The change in pace since the break is disappointing for a lot of people. Just the way it is. The action sequences are what make Walking Dead what it is. It makes up for poor dialogue and acting. I believe the acting has improved big time over seasons 1 & 2. It's up to average.
The woodbury scene is the worst part for me this season and I mean to a point where it just becomes unwatchable..

Loved the episode. Dialogue was good (in my opinion), and great character development for Rick and Michonne, and to a lesser extent, Carl. Can't wait for the next episide!

Not sure if anyone noticed or I was seeing things (I didnt rewind to watch in slo mo) or if Talking Dead mentions it: Spoiler Morgan's zombie wife was shot dead by Carl in the cafe on their way out.
I could of swore Morgan said he killed her after she killed his son, may be wrong though. Going on the whole thing about how when he should have killed her when he had the chance before.
Anybody had a hunch that Morgan was gonna appear after they showed the clip of Rick talking on the radio? I thought it was the best episode since it came back from break
Carl's dialogue with Michone is probably the worst acting i have ever seen on TV. Ok episode. Walking Dead is starting to lose it's touch. Pacing is still a tad slow compared to the first half.
