I never hated T Mac. I always supported him, even when he left the team. But I always hated T Mac's fans. No, not Rockets fans who follow T Mac. I mean T Mac fans who only follow him. I hated how they talked trash about the Rockets. But honestly, besides his pathetic fans, I respect T Mac for what he did for my team and all the injuries he played through.

haha I havent been on the site for that long, was more of a viewer before poster and dont post much at all.

I understand these guys with the Tmac hate, I loved his game and hate that he was such a chalkbones. But it is what it is, we have a great player to build around now. Why we got to look back at that Rockets team with so much distaste.

When its all said and done, we had 2 very injury prone stars and we didnt get the role players together quickly enough to make a CHIP run.

Averaged 25pts and 7 rebounds a game in China this season. You don't think he could give us 10-12 mins a night in the playoffs?

IMHO, only players who will NEVER get forgiveness from Rockets fans include the following:

    Andrei Kirlenko
    Carlos Boozer
    Mehmet Okur
    Matt Harpring
    Matt Barnes
    Derek Fisher

    dark horse:
Draymond Green? (doubt hes relevant doe)

Screw Tmac. Sure, he had otherworldly talent and was the best player on the team. Big whoop de doo. What he had in talent he lacked in heart, worth ethic, character.

I'm sure someone around here will post the games where he half assed his way up and down the court. I'm not going to waste my time if you folks can't remember. And he did that crap when he was surrounded by some of the hardest workign players in the league.

It's not that Tmac was unhealthy or got injured. So did Yao. But Yao worked hard, had heart, and had character and class that Tmac can't even dream about.

Sorry, but if you're going to be a star of the Rockets, that comes with a responsibility. Tmac didn't even come close. If he repeatedly lost in the first round, but didn't pull that crap at the end of his tenure here, I would have respected him.

but weak is weak, and She-Mac or Stacey McLady, whchever you prefer, has no place among the top rockets of all time. Whoever said that he's the second greatest rocket ever should just turn in their rockets fan card right now, and just go watch sportcenter highlights.

    Tmac can kiss my ass.

I have higher regard for TMac over Kenny Smith. Smith left Houston as home, importantly, he didn't even show up at the 90s All-Decade Team.

Good additions, you'll have to forgive my youth on this one.

Ungrateful? The fool stopped playing in the middle of a game. You get paid millions and you throw a fit like a child in the middle of a game that people paid to see. I fine with people disliking him. I personally think he was a disappointment and as a basketball player. That's not even talking about his non-existent knee injury the Docs said he did not need repair. Clearly, he had a brain injury and earned the nickname She-Mac. As a person the guy is great!!! A disappointment like Ralph Sampson, the bar was set very high for him. A least Ralph kicked ass in his playoff games when he was healthy, literally and figuratively. She Mac never won a series in his "prime".

I am not even sure he came to the game to support the Rockets or his cousin. His interview seemed really fake.
