So did he already signed with the Rockets or are they still working on deal? I want to see him play already.

This is all that I've seen:

"Brooks agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings on Friday (March 1st) and is expected to clear waivers early next week."

Please let this happen. I want to wear this t-shirt. It has been sitting in my closet for 2 years.

I'm not sure that we want to pick up Brooks option either.

I'm all for AB to return, but I wonder how effective he'll be offensively within this scheme as opposed to Adelman's. If all he's going to do is camp on 3 point line, I'd rather we have kept Douglas.

Just curious, but why would Selby be playoff eligible? Also, what do you think or know of his game?

If I'm not mistaken, if he clears waivers, and we sign him, then that option becomes mute. Someone please clarify if you know the exact rules.

But if he clears waivers, we can sign him to any new contract we want, right? (I mean, assuming he agrees, of course)

Speaking of Douglas: Why was he in the trade anyway? Don't need his salary for the trade to go through. SAC has no use for him, do they? He's an upcoming FA so we don't need to dump him to reduce summer salary, either.

Why didn't the teams just keep him and Homeycutt?

Are you suggesting that possibly Morey did it to force McHale to play Lin more minutes?

Doesn't a player go on waivers for 48hrs? So I believe he was bought out at like 3pm on March 1st so he should be a FA now.

No, I just have no idea why. Nor do I have any idea why Morey was in a hurry to dump Morris for a 2nd round pick.
