Please, no OKC in play-offs. It's the only team where we have no chance. Other way Spurs and Clippers are pregnable teams. Clips are even stronger opp to play than Spurs with those pick&rolls between CP3&Griffin. As we have weak defense in PF spot i rather face-off Spurs, who are filled with oldies (injuries are possible), have no PF's who can score and every year founds ways to lose early in play-offs.

With Parker out for a month I guess OKC would outrun Spurs for a 1st place in conference, so we need 7 place to play them. Our shedule are good enough to make it happen. :)

And 2 games out of the 8th spot in the loss column lol. Big deal! We're securing anything.

I'll let you know after the next game. The Mavs may not be playing well, but it seems we lose to those type of teams.

you really think the rockets are going to beat the mavericks?

We are relying on Patrick Beverley and Carlos Delfino to perform really well to win any games right now. 9th seed is ours

Lol as if only the next two games matter? I've checked all the opponents the Rockets, Lakers and Jazz still have to face and have the Jazz missing the playoffs and the Lakers will be a higher seed than us.

I don't see why everyone still think the Lakers suck, they've obviously found some sort of chemistry and have been winning the games they should win. They only lost in Denver lately, because the Nuggets are an elite team

Lakers may not suck but I will venture to say that Rockets are better. 2 games better as of now :p

Have faith in the team. 6th seed is well within reach. We just got to believe :)

Yeah, tonight's a big one for a few reasons:
    1. It's the Mav; we cont lose to the freaking Mavs
    2. We've been playing like crap the last three games and we need to get off the snide by playing with more toughness.
    3. Every game from here on out has playoff implications. If the Lake show is gonna sneak into the 8th seed, it damn sure isn't gonna be Houston that's on the outside looking in.

I really don't find the Clippers a dangerous team. I mean yeah they're good, but not dangerous. If you take out Chris Paul out of that team, they're nothing. They'll be a 7 seed team with out Chris Paul.

LOL, agree, but we're not a dangerous team the way people are making the Clippers. People are making the Clippers like they're a championship team, they're really not! With or with out Chris Paul. I think the Rockets can beat them in the playoffs.

If Chris Paul is healthy, I think he changes the game beyond anyone else outside of Lebron and maybe KD. But his knee sucks right now so we have a shot.
I just don't want the Spurs.

Golden State will be the odd team out. Houston, Utah and L.A. will be in - I've been saying this for the past 2 weeks.

The Lakers might have jelled better than before, but it's kind of late for them now.

They have to win all their remaining 23 games to guarantee themselves the 8th seed without any help from other teams. So unless two of the three teams in front of them now tank, I don't think they have a chance to become a higher seed than us.

We are however only half a game behind Jazz (holding the tiebreaker and a home game vs them left) and one game behind Warriors. We do have a good chance overtaking both of them.

Before the trade and the losses to Wizards and Bucks at home, I was so confidence with all the analysis that we would get the 6th seed, but now I am not so sure about 6th or even 7th seed in the sense that we have to rely on Warriors and Jazz to continue to play poorly and not bouncing back to their mean.

But no matter what, 2013 postseason, here we come!

I know what we say doesn't really affect the outcome, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. First of all, we have 0 control over catching Golden State and Utah, just have to pray that they lose. Next, we are looking pretty iffy lately. To get to 45 wins we need to go 13-9, 44 wins is 12-10. That's about the most I am expecting. I don't know if 44 wins will even be enough. Finally, the asspain Lakers are finally going to play somewhat like they're "supposed to" and make our lives hell for the rest of the schedule.

These Dallas games are huge. We're 0-2 against them so far. Why is everyone so confident? Have we forgotten the trade that just happened? I hope I'm wrong. . . .
