Fair enough, and you are free to think that despite the fact that the numbers disagree. I have watched him quite a bit myself, he almost never was able to hang with opposing PF's especially if they were large because of how soft he was. Just because he had an a really awesome mid range jumper doesn't mean that we have to pretend he did anything else well, because he didn't.

He was very good at covering screen and rolls.

i dont think people will like this opinion much but unless chris paul or dwight are available next year we should just let these guys develop and not sign anyone (unless like bynum wanted to sign for a year or something) i think the way this team thrives is if we sign a superstar power forward.... if we got love for example, then we would just need dmo to average 11 points in 15-20 min as a back 4 and 5 that would make him one of the best bench players

Love averaged 11 ppg his first year and 14 ppg his second year. I think Dmo will be a superior to him on the offensive end in his first two years, if he can pick up his D and rebounding he may be a great player.

Sometimes those are the hardest things to get better at.

Although DMo seems like a really hard worker and plans to keep getting better.

I agree with you, it's not like being a good at rebounding and improving your D is simple but I think he has the skills and work ethic to improve from what I have seen so far. Hopefully we will have a chance to see some improvement from him even before the season is over.

No doubt the effort is there and he can stick with his guy...... until that guy is in the act of scoring. He freezes like he's got 5 fouls and don't wanna foul out.

Dmo Is Like Yao In That He Has An Insatiable Desire To improve. But Like Yao, I Hope He Doesnt Wear His Body Down With Offseason Commitments And Training

Even on the lithuanian boards D-mo is getting crucified for his defense, which should really tell you something.. I can't remember the last time a coach wasn't blamed for an under-achieving lithuanian player over there. Though since he hasn't seen much playing time this year, i think it will take him a week or two before he gets used to the speed of the NBA game...

After this summer with the national team, and some hard work in the off-season, he definitely has the potential to be consistant contributor. maybe not 19/8/4 , but 16/7/2 perhaps.

From the video it just looked like D-Mo was either late on his rotation or over pursuing on some plays. He was crashing on the shooter and they would go right by him. Also, on the pick and roll he got way too high.

D-Mo was showing a lot of energy but he was clearly out of gas after about 20 minutes.
I think his conditioning needs to improve before he ever plays 30 minutes a game.

His 15 minute average may have good per-36 averages, but before he becomes a solid starter he needs to improve his rebounding, interior defense, and also become more consistent.

Coffe always tastes better on other people table, enough with D Haward and CP3 ,we should had learned that Robert Horry was more important to the team than Pepen. & Barkely. D-Mo is going to be Hakeem lite, so far he is under the pressure to impress couches and teammates. ,soon he is going to be him self, I like his iQ, this why Harden is so special
