Online dating is a microcosm of the geographic area. If you are in the Bay Area with a high male:female, the online ratio is the same if not much worse. Similarly if you live in NYC with a high female:male ratio, the online population will also have many females. In my experience, girls are always 5 years younger and 10lbs lighter in their profile pics at the very least. I prefer offline pickups cuz my success of landing a date rate is like 10x more efficient given the time and effort and I can also inspect the goods in person.
