He isn't that bad either. Good shooter, quick feet, quick hands. Not the greatest player ever, but can help offensively as a sparkplug off the bench. Why not.
His terrible shot blocking is one of the biggest reasons why i feel that he's better at power forward.
The Sacramento Kings, in my opinion, is the worst organization and coaching staff in the NBA. Not the place for players to develop and play better. I hope they move to Seattle where they can get a new GM and new coaching staff.
Thank you! We're not breaking the bank for a role player that will be coming off the bench guys. Y'all needa seriously take a chill pill.
someone pull out the 09 playoff highlights against the lakers....if we get that AB back, it'll be a big addition.
This is during the playoffs against the best team in the league. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/b6VN3mrlam0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
So did the Brooks for Dragic and a 1st round pick actually happen? Both guys end up back where they started after the equivalent of about 2 seasons. Brooks can play off the ball so this could work.
i like it. Maybe motivated, he can regain his powers like prior to manu taking them away from him. It would be nice having instant offense off the bench, since mcsmooth and sampson never figured out a way to keep a harden or lin in the game at all times and our offense struggles when they're both sitting down.
Some of you guys are ridiculous....smh Brooks is a proven scorer and a proven commodity... The guy is instant offense and would put an end to those dry spells that this team has.....Even tho we avg. 106 points anyone who actually watches the game knows that this team has stretches where they go about 3 to 5 mins without scoring.... when all else fails you spead the floor and Brooks WILL beat his man off the bounce. I was thinking just about a month ago that this team needs a guy like Jamal Crawford to solidify that bench unit... And to those who say Brooks can play defense well I dont think he's great by no means but he gives a major effort on the ball and I've only seen him get abused by the bigger guards who take him to the post... Additionally its kind hard to be a great perimeter defender when you have a non athletic 6'9" pf and a 6'6" center.... trust me people if this deal is legit then its gonna be a great deal for the rockets and add more excitement to an already exciting team...
I like the addition of AB because if something happens to Lin then we have a guy who has been a 19PPG scorer with proven play-off experience. I don't think AB is any threat to JLin or Beverley but we need another competent PG on the team.
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QDa7dvf_5Ds?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I have a feeling Aaron Brooks isn't really going to like Jeremy Lin
I really like the combination of Brooks, Beverly and Delfino in the second unit. Sure Brooks is a negative on the defensive end, but we finally have someone that can create offense when Harden is sitting. The truth is we aren't going to beat anyone with defense right now. We have to win shoot outs.
Eager to get him backing up the 1 & 2. This move will definitely improve our scoring. If Bev can keep shooting lights out like last night, we should definitely be able to win, even with this crappy D we've been suffering. Hoping Lin will get more consistently aggressive.
This makes me happy. I've always liked Aaron. Dude's only 28, has low mileage, and will sign a bargain deal. What's the harm? Brings back good, warm memories. Fun news.
