You were hating on sumlin a lot. I thought sumlin would do well. Maybe not 11-2, but I thought he was a good hire.
And you're welcome from a Longhorn fan. If Mack didn't pull off that win last year then Sherman would most likely still be the coach.
Haha, I think everyone was a little skeptical of that at first.....but I was cautiously optimistic. BTW, from an Aggie to a Longhorn, that smackdown you laid in the UT thread was awesome. That picture of the Texans jerseys was icing on the cake. Good job.
The real question is what will happen with the bats. It does look nice and sure as hell beats the old brutalism Kyle Field. I still like Baylor's concept better (because I'm a sucker for waterfront stadiums).

What a waste of talent ... The guy can barely get on the field his senior year due to off the field issues, puts up great numbers at the combine, and then goes and does this to throw it all away. I wouldn't touch this guy if I were an NFL GM. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/n...pt-through-two-team-interviews-at-nfl-combine
That's too bad for C-Mike. Damontre Moore not doing too better himself. He had a poor combine showing. At least there is Joeckel? Ha. Almost forgot: Showers transferred to UTEP. A&M will see him/them this year.
Dang most of the mock drafts are showing Damontre out of the 1st round..Thought he was gonna be a top 5 pick.. Did he really do that bad at the combine or did the other DEs just do alot better than expected?
He was awful. He only did 12 reps on the bench and ran a 4.9 plus forty. He looked like he hadn't even prepared. Also, his tape supposedly isn't that great against some of the better competition.
I never thought Moore would be that great in the NFL. I was shocked by Kiper's early ranking but I bought into it because I didn't expect much from Von Miller either. Miller and Watt were similar coming out, mega motors and athleticism.
The jury is out on Moore. His measurable at the combine were terrible, but that is seldom the entire story. You can only tell so much about a player's on field ability by a bench press and a 40 time.
Aggies pick up three recruits from Junior Day. Dylan Sumner-Gardner (West Mesquite), Armani Watts (North Forney), and DeShawn Washington (Nederland). Not a bad day's work for Sumlin and crew. Hopefully they can pull a couple of the national recruits (Braden Smith, Justin Thornton, among others) and really put themselves into a good position come summer.
What a day for the Ags ... If they can ride JFF to another great season or two, this momentum is going to be awfully hard for others in the state to stop.
