This is the same educated forum that suggested that Monta Ellis and James Harden would be an ideal combo, unaware that the idea of swapping Lin for Ellis had already been lampooned in The Onion.

Why would they make up something like that? Even during the off season Woodson didn't even visit Lin at his place instead made him fly from the bay to LA. Definitely not hard to believe.

 

How about we just let Lin work on his weaknesses in the off season? Let him earn McHale's trust.

I tend to believe someone's word above unnamed sources; that's just me. Woodson told Lin last summer that he was going to be his starting PG. Lin and Woodson confirmed this on separate occasions. I'm assuming you would prefer to believe an unnamed source rather than the people themselves.

Ok, how about Rox vs Mavs? lin didn't play well trough out 1-3 quarter, but mchale didn't benched him and put the ball in his hand over harden and let him explode 4th. sounds familiar? honestly i don't see any difference between Woodson and Mchale in terms of TRUST matter.

 

Yet John Wall is again shooting 7% from three just like last season, barely shooting 40% while averaging almost 4 TOs per game and everyone still hypes him up and he still gets star treatment on his team and among his peers.
