Are we just gonna ignore the magical game that Harris and Nicholson just had tonight?

    Rookie Andrew Nicholson and Sophmore Tobias Harris, the two PFs of Orlando, played exactly 48 minutes combined tonight with no overlap as far as I can remember.

    Their stats, combined, are as follows:

    44 pts, 18-23 from the field, TS% of 88%, 3 TOs.


    We would be setting off fireworks here if our young PFs come close to these numbers.

    Are they already dominant NBA players or is there an alternative cause for this magical night of PF basketball?

    Other than the 5 and 1 positions, the other 3 positions dont play a lick of defense.

    As a team, our defense sucks, ESPECIALLY at the PF with Motiejunas and Robinson, so it's expected.

    Well, before this game, Harris is averaging 18 points and 6 boards on 67% shooting with Orlando. Nicholson is averaging 12 and 5 on 53% in his last 10.

    So combine our bad defense with 30 points and 60% shooting, and that's what you get.

    What is pathetic is the defense played by HOU's PFs tonight, aside from maybe Delfino. What also is pathetic are people who refuse to see the truth in front of their own eyes because they get excited over acquiring "a top 5 pick."

    If these two can drop 44 points on 88% TS% against Houston, almost anyone can.

    Most of the shots Harris made on Robinson were well contested, and Harris has averaged 20 ppg since arriving in Orlando.

    From what i saw, T-Rob played good D, not great, just good D.. but Tobias pushed him like James Harden usually does to his defenders, not offensive foul but using strength..
    This was a great game for them and bad from our PFs on D

    The "truth" is the Rockets front office sacrificed the present for future gains long term. I dont know any half way smart poster on here that doesn't understand the risks they took in trading away Patterson/Morris. We get it, but its time to move on dude.
