thanks man, I don't really know if I do but I try. :p

Yea you are right, he is pushing for that but I think he would take Morey's advice if Morey were against it. Not many people realize that we are still adding Adelman like players and playing Adelman like ball even though they criticize Mchale.

From their public speeches I think the coaches mostly just want their PGs to bring up the ball, shoot 3's and stay in front of opponents' fast PGs in defense. This didn't seem to bring out the best of the team so they compromise and then regress from time to time. I am afraid that the coaches have regressed a bit more lately and the team doesn't look confident in the last few games.

He's a coach that's not great at anything. We want two superstars but are okay with an okay to mediocre coach? Makes no sense.

Is he an X's and O's guy? Definitely not.
Is he a great motivator? No.

What exactly is he good at?

“Sometimes he’d rather have 29 points and nine turnovers and I tell him, ‘Jeremy, we’re trying to win,’ ” McHale said.

I used to think McHale could be a good coach, and gave him the benefit of the doubt, maybe due to his family tragedy. But what kind of coach would criticize one of his players right after he plays an amazing game for a hard fought win over a top tier team, and using made up stats to boot (ie. 9 TOs)??

Obviously you do not play a newly acquired rookie with little practise with the current team, and close to zero knowledge on the plays being run.

It was taken out of context. He meant it as a joke. Guys are seriously making too much of that statement.

And like you said, cut him some slack. His personal tragedy is not one I would wish on anyone.

That's a bad joke if that is meant to be one. As always Mcfail doesn't look, doesn't talk, and doesn't act like a good coach.

No way, T Jones played that one game against the lakers and did great.

OK, he's not starter material, but it's just unfair to to start TRob, when TRob hasn't earned it as per McHale's edit about earning playing time with Defense, practice showings...

TRob has been torched everytime his man makes a move on him!! In both games that I've watched now...

TJones must feel like, what do I have to do to get some PT....

And look at the way DMO is producing, I am not talking about points, just boards....dude is rebounding, ok he still falls over and is too weak and plays bad D, but he couldn't have got a bit more PT earlier on in the season!!

Listen, **** happened. One of my server guy's dad passed away, he took 2 days off take care of the funeral and back to business. He didn't come back and stay to mess up the server and ****. You just can't bring your emotion to your job, especially a job that pay you millions a year. Against, it is MILLIONS a year job, not someone flipping burgers. If you command this kind of salary, then you are expect to provide this kind of services. If you cannot do it, take a longer break or simply resign. Is this too much to ask?

So much drama for an above-average PG... I really hope we trade Lin, just so his fans will leave... If Lin was actually a legit All-Star, this stupidity would be somewhat tolerable, but he is not even anywhere near that good.

Fans feel a closer connection to McHale because they watch him on tv and so react more like he is a close friend that suffered this tragedy. But you are right that you've got to do your job the right way or take more time off. People in normal job manage this every day.

Agreed, I like Lin's upside, but it's not worth having to deal with his fans. He could have a broken leg and his fans would complain that McHale wasn't playing him 45 minutes a game.

Lin had 8 points in 8 minutes last night and then was benched for 10 minutes because of it.

    McHale must go!

Thank you for proving my point. Lin is dealing with an ankle injury and you are upset that he didn't get enough playing time.

If we'd have just kept Ademlan.

It always seems like when we redo our teams identity, we let the perfect coach go. A la; Artest joining, but no Van Gundy. And now at the current make up, Adleman would have been perfect.

Kind of like the comments about democratic ball and how you don't want to play that way? Or the whole lowry incident?(that was not funny).

where there is fire, there is usually something burning.

Mchale hating lin is outrageously far fetched, but resentful for having a veteran point guard taken away from him ..that's very plausible considering the history of stuborness(lowry, camby, scola and martin all questioned him at some point).

like kobe said, unless you win a championship is any coach the right coach?
I guess mchale has to take us to the finals first to find out.

Still believe he can grow into a great coach, but watching him get there is painful at times with some of his decisions, kinda like our guards.

Yeah and Harden is dealing with a knee injury and played 42 minutes.

It's not like this just happened yesterday Bobby - it's been going on all season. No sense arguing with you though - facts don't appear to matter.
