Thomas the Tank Engine is a fighter and a producer. Robinson is not lol

 

this robinson guy is really bad, never thought i 'd say so, and this team plays like crap, can't believe they are 4 games above 50...

 

I was and I am willing to give ample time to any new player, especially one as young as Robinson, but there are things he does on the court that makes your head scratch. Had he play like this in college (i.e. altered mental status like condition, more commonly known as comatose), he would have had a hard time even becoming the team's waterboy.

I have no idea what is going with that dude.

 

I really don't get the terrible on defense thing. He rotated better than D-Mo and contested nearly every shot. Harris was the only guy to really score on him (and he scored on the entire Rockets team) and those were all tough shots he scored on.

The one thing he did really bad was handle the ball obviously. Also he's not getting rebounds, even though they are not coming his way he supposedly has a nose for the ball and those guys are usually predicting where the ball will go or are the first to react after it hits the rim.

With that said, this 2nd game was much better for him defensively, worse offensively because of those two TOs.

I still think he can contribute this year and I don't think the lead they lost was even his fault, they actually lost the lead while he was in and then regained it IIRC. But I understand people want him to produce right away and are going to be terribly impatient with him.

Yeah, I'm not willing to concede that the trade was bad quite yet, but Mr.Robinson is looking a little Jordan Hilly out there. Pretty scary stuff watching him not being able to even hold the ball on the court without having a turnover , that is definitely a bad sign.

 

Nowhere to go but up from here. Hang in there T. Rob. Let's hope he looks like a member of the team next game. Sure seemed lost out there tonight.
At least D Mo has a 3 point shot and post moves.
Hopefully Robinson can redeem himself soon.

 

Marcus morris went for 16 tonight for the suns. Crazy how many ex-rockets are on that roster. Every deal we make seems to include either them, the kings, or both

 

Thomas the Tank Engine is really useful. Thomas Robinson causes confusion and delay.

 

Might not be a bad trade when it's all said and done, but why in the world do you play him over TJones.

The Rockets have established you have to earn your way to getting minutes and all of a sudden we give Robinson minutes ahead of TJones.

 

Tough time for TRob
all three years in Kansas TRob doing low post jobs
now the houston system wants him move the ball from the high post in the defensive end
TRob obviously doesn't go well with Greg Smith, both of whom need space in the paint
As for rebound, TRob still need to get famaliar with when and where teammates would shoot

Could not agree more. Both need to play near the basket to be successful. Olbrecht would be a more complimentary player for Robinson.

Only 2 games played as a Rocket, people need to learn a little patience.

 

Can't help imagining Tyler Zeller with TRob for Rox
only one postion behind
a huge loss

 

It would have been perfect for Rox in the picks if we get Lamb, White and Zeller.
