I hope that helps you get your panties untwisted.

This is about the team. It will turn into Tebow-Sanchez very quickly if Lin is made into a backup or 3rd string role.

Linsanity is 29 points and 9 turnover kind of performance, he is prohibited from doing that here, how can he?!

    It is what it is.

Lin just need improve his jumper shot this off season. Other than his somewhat shaky jumper and sometimes subpar PnR defense, I don't see him having any major disadvantanges against 80% of PGs in this league.

He is not a star, but he is still competitive despite he plays under a coach who doesn't really have too much confidence in him.

Just keep improving and let thing gets taken care of itself.

I would hope we get a more conventional offense to mix up with our run n gun style next season, now that we have D-Mo in the post and T-Rob for pick and rolls. If the style stays the same, I say ship out Lin for a Mo Williams type.

Even with Lin though, I wonder how effective they can be defensively as a backcourt duo. Desperately need a wing stopper next to Harden's non-existent D. Lin might be better served as the sixth man off the bench.

Why would you say he would be a distraction? The only person who will be distracted are the fans on the message boards upset about their hero not being named MVP and emperor of the world. Lin himself seems like a class act guy who is a great positive in the locker room and only cares about winning.

It took me a while to warm up to Lin, but the guy is getting better all the time and is definitely already a serviceability NBA guard. Plus, he fits into this offense very well, and would do so as a starter or even off the bench.

The NBA and the Rockets are not some sort of apparatus whose purpose is to make Lin have the best stats he can and look as good as possible. The Rockets are trying to win games, and Lin can help them do that. He is not their best player, and he won't ever have the game plan or rotation revolve around him, but he will contribute often when the coaches think he is one of the best two guards on the roster that they can put on the floor at any given moment -- which will be often I am sure, just not always.

That iron is more suited for your thoughts because you obviously aren't thinking straight.

What about D-Mo tonight? You know, the actual rookie starter on our team who everyone agrees has insanely high potential but who got benched in favor of Delfino? Oh wait, he isn't Jeremy Lin **** him.

What about that game against the Lakers when Smith dominated the Lakers whiles Asik watched from the bench? Oh wait, he isn't Jeremy Lin **** him too.

As a veteran poster, you sure know how to set a bad example.

    Against the Wizards.
Jeremy Lin enters the game for Patrick Beverley (6:35 left in the game) 94-88 Rockets lead

    Against the Bucks.
Jeremy Lin enters the game for Patrick Beverley (5:28 left in the game) 99-99

Amount of outcry against McHale for not putting in Beverley to end the game the way everyone second guess his every other move.
    Miniscule if any

Actually, they would take him back but they don't have anything Morey wants. Fans/Media (outside of nydn/dolan apologists) still love the kid.

    Thank you for owning Orange.

I agree with you. It's an unnecessary distraction. If Mchale has more confidence in Bev/soon to be Brooks and feel that they're a better fit with Harden, then they need to get rid of Lin.

you answered your own question. The Lin thing is what it is. We all know it will be a distraction if we keep him. You need to get off this high horse you're on and read my op again. maybe you missed the part where I complained about McHale's stupid substitution pattern when it came to Delfino and D-Mo. but no, i guess you just read the first sentence and immediately thought this was a cleverly disguised Lin lovefest and decided you had to be captain save-a-LOH. very well done, you have sniffed me out. my only concern is for Lin and noone else.

It doesn't matter what their fans want, it's the Knicks. Melo is close with Dolan and he doesn't want to even hear about Linsanity because of his ego.

Yea, definitely needs to be traded. Get a better piece for harden. Doubt it though. I see Lin rotting away for one more year before the 15 mill paycheck comes. Then he'll be traded.

Why does Mchale not like Lin? Carlos chucks like crazy and you don't see nothing from him. I love carlos because he got that swagger, but mchale using Lin like an idiot is just plain stupid. Use Lin's strength for the love of god.

Yes, I think a trade to the Lakers would be good

Maybe we can get back a 1st rounder, Steve Blake and Jordan Hill

Hill would be good 4 as he hustles and plays defense. Blake is very good at shooting wide open corner 3s and with a 3 pg tandem of Beverly, Blake and Brooks. The Kill Bs! And Morey can draft someone good for us with the draft pick.

Lakers need someone to take over once Nash retires and Dantoni seems to like Lin. Dwight, Gasol, Artest, Kobe, Lin would be a pretty good.

Lin is punished it seems for Parsons and Harden's defensive weakness. Parsons is being lit game after game and still doesn't really see his time go down. Nothing Lin can really do I think, except play the season out and request a trade. He won't realize his potential in this offense anyway. Being solely a spot up shooter is probably the worst role for a point guard.

Oh stop back pedalling you coward.

This is a knee jerk reaction singing what the Lin fans love to say.

And no I didn't miss anything, this is just another "OMG McHale hates Lin" thread.

    It's not PG job.
