What this team needs is more playing time for players subbing for Harden and Parsons. It's good Beverley is getting heavy minutes for development....but players sitting behind Harden and Parsons need playing time....Otherwise, when they are hurt it's going to hurt the team that much more...McFail fails again.
Exactly, just like how in the Bucks game McHale left T-Rob in there too long and pissed away a huge lead. Lin and D-mo still finished +3 and +12 that game, a fat -18 for T-Rob.
Dude, most of us are just questioning McHale's benching of Lin. You don't bench your starter for an entire 4th quarter unless there is something physically wrong with him.
how do you know we would lose? how do you know we don't care? at least i care win or not. but key is not that. you have to look future not tonight only. if you can't trust your starter, how are you going to rely on your starter to win games.
The defense was better by the whole team late. Much better denial of passes which helped Beverley get at least one if not two of those steals. I'm fine with Lin sitting if he's hurt or Beverley was going nuts. But Beverley played good not great. This idea he turned the game around boggles the mind. We didn't build on the lead until crunch time. Where Lin usually excels.
If the majority of Rockets players brought what Carlos brings every night in atittude we would be very hard to beat. That guy is an NBA player you want around.
can we just have a separate thread devoted to LOFs vs LOHs??? Or better yet, can we start a separate website where LOFs can just talk amongst themselves? Must they drag EVERY Game Thread into the discussion about why mchale hates lin, lin didn't get enough minutes, lin is the best player in the world and isn't getting shots..blah blah blah. I like the guy a lot, I want him to be a superstar. I also like other players on the team and it would be nice to have a general game discussion that talks about everyone. Not hijack a thread every single freakin timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

We are talking about the Magic. The Rockets should have concluded the game at the end of Q3, instead, Rockets almost lost. Lin, a starter out the mid of 3rd and the entire 4th?? This is unheard of unless this starter is injured during the game.
To be fair to McFail, Lin did have a bum ankle tonight, and the last time he played him in the closing minutes while Lin was sick, we lost, so I can't blame him tonight...
