this...Lin gets hot early; benched with 4 minutes left in the first and sits out for like 10 minutes. Comes back and is ice cold. Been happening a lot lately.
I don't see a lack of effort, more like he has no idea where he's supposed to be out there, which is expected. Not to mention he's always playing with either D-Mo or Smith who also have no idea what they're doing out there. Ideally we should play him next to Asik, but then there's no floor spacing.
I think Berverley should start over Lin, Lin is so bad at shooting, turn the ball over to much, cant go left, cant shoot 3s, has no defense
McHale is clearly biased with respect to Jeremy Lin. So my question is -- why does he have such an irrational love for Lin? (Kidding, people... relax )
Guys I love Lin too but BEv was probably playing for his job tonight show him some love as well. He has been waiting for his chance just as long.
Beverley played great tonight, he definitely helped us to win this game. I still don't like closing the game with Delfino at the 4, even though he hit a really big shot. In a close game, he is just too much of a liability guarding the other teams PF and trying to help rebound. Lin should have played in the 4th, even with Beverley doing great. It would have been good to go with Beverly, Lin and Harden at the SF followed up by DMo and Asik...at least for a few minutes. McHale and Harden both did seem to have confidence in Beverly down the stretch for the last couple of plays by letting him run the offense instead of Harden iso ball. That doesn't bode well for what they think Lin is capable of in crunch time.
Don't make jokes man, I don't think the forums are ready for that You guys call each other out on the smallest ****, seriously.
that's not what's being suggested, Beverly had 13 pts on 83% shooting, 3 steals, 6 assists, 2 rebounds and only 1 turnover, for him, it was a really good night, which is better than Lin on a mediocre night.
I think this is obvious. But even if he wasn't, I say leave Bev in tonight as he basically helped save the game.
Beverley played well but that's just ridiculous. His defense looked good at the end but was its typically crappy quality earlier. Good win. We needed it.
THE QUESTION ISN'T LIN OR BEV IT'S WAHT'S HAPPENING IN THE 2ND Q ..AGAIN!!!DO WHAT THEY DID WITH TD REST HARDEN BEV PG LIN SG
