This really makes no sense to me. I understand wanting to add a 3rd PG, but Brooks? Don't see how he addresses our team needs. It would sure be a nice story if he was able to come back and have a positive impact, though.
so this is the same aaron brooks who was the the most improved player of the year .... was instrumental in rockets getting to a game 7 minus yao against the lakers, can flat out score and shoot the ball .... WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!!!! welcome back AB
Would be an absolutely huge pickup if he can play the way he did his first years with us. But unfortunately I'm doubtful that he can be that productive. We'll see.
diff is brooks is averaging 8 points in 20 min shooting 38 percent from the 3 point line that would make him the 3 best shooter this season on the rockets ... on a team that shoots a lot of threes and relies on players to run out and get open .. i really doubt a guy shooting 38 percent and quick as lightning is gonna be a waste... stevie was playing for a coach who wouldnt play u unless u played Defense AND he was done being a productive player
One of my favorite Rockets games ever (outside the championship years that is). I called that game "The Mother's Day Miracle". First game after Yao's career ended, and they dominated the Lakers.
I haven't seen him play lately. Is his speed anywhere near his pre-injury level? If not, I just don't see him making much of an impact.
