Saturday they had Afrojack and the Flaming Lips closing at the same time, Sunday they had Pretty Lights closing I'm guessing it'll be Bassnectar vs Iggy Pop (or an addition, Pretty Lights was a late add last year) on Saturday and Postal Service vs Calvin Harris on Sunday.
I could have sworn the "fancy pants" pass was $115 at the beginning of the day, i just checked and it's $135... wow.. must be a sign that ticket sales are going swell the first day
This lineup caters to one type of music fan. I guess I'm not that type. Although seeing the Stooges could be pretty sweet.
turns out they are playing Saturday night, according to tour dates. I really hope they have a big add for Sunday night, I don't really care about Bassnectar (alternatively, you can have The Stooges close, but I have a feeling they wont be closing) I've had fancy pants the past two years. Skipping the line to get in is by far the best part. The line to get in is absolutely awful. The AC tents are also pretty nice to have a good resting/chillout spot, but not necessary. I bought the passes the past two years when they were really cheap (I think a fancy pants was only 40 bucks in last years pre-sale). Worth it back then, I don't think its worth it for the price they have this year. I'm going with a regular pass this year. Also, they didn't really have any viewing areas that I can remember last year. only real advantage was skipping the line and the AC tents, and are both are just nice little bonuses, not really worth paying 50 or more extra dollars for
