Funny thing, it doesn't seem to be working. If anything, President Obama's poll numbers improve, leading the cons and wingnuts to complain that the public is just uninformed. Which seems to be an even better way to alienate the very voters you home to attract.
Lol, so you were actually making a reference to a religious group of robbers and assassins in 1830s British India?
The Repubs are wedded to tactics that used to work but empirically do not work anymore. Not only do they not work anymore, but the voting populace has changed such that there is a negative reaction to this crap, even as it is cheered on by the true believers. Here's an interesting article from Erick Ericksen of red State: Perhaps a noble sentiment, but with folks like basso and texxx around, we don't have to worry that the Repubs will change. If you don't have policy that works and means something to the majority of the people, all you have is outrage.

His books are well researched and edited, and serve more to report than editorialize. Nothing important or accurate can be conveyed in a combative, time-compressed, conversational, attention-seeking environment, that's why cable talk shows are garbage and a waste of his time. I don't know what the hell sentence three and four are about.
