Lol. It did hurt to rewatch it, I'll admit. But damn Parsons, why you so far away from Ellis on that play?!

I usually defend Parsons but he was bad. He was sloppy, inconsistent and missed too many open looks.

Lin, he just disappears for quarters at a time. He isn't horrible but he isn't good either. It happens too often. Either they need to let him play his style of game (if that is the issue) or he needs to make a more consistent impact. When he is good, he is very good, it is just not often enough.

Harden tweaked his ankle, and the trend continues, if he doesn't play really well we lose. Many of his large turnover games correspond when refs swallow their whistle and FTs turn into TOs.

DMO works his ass off, not sure why his conditioning is so bad.

Asik had a great game and a break out season. I would not be surprised if he leads the NBA in rebounds. He will make a nice addition to whatever team Morey trades him.

Morey better keep at it, because there won't be another Harden to turn a 25 win team into a 42 win team next season to get us over the next hump.... I also don't care what anyone says, Morey doesn't care too much about this season or he never would have made the Robinson deal.

I really don't understand why Parsons is trying to play point-forward either.

Lin will never be more than a role player on this team with this coaching staff. He will have an occasional good scoring game if his 3's fall, but that's it. McHale doesn't think much of the importance of the PG role in general, and he certainly doesn't think much of Lin running it. This attitude trickles down to the rest of the players as well. Listen, that's fine, if that's how you want to play it Kev, but no one should bother even talking about Lin in a win or a loss, because he's a non-factor on nights just like this.

Really show me? Show me how many times Lin has been "shut down" more after a big scoring game, than a game where he wouldn't score, but just played badly. McHale was letting T. Douglass eat into his minutes.. Even when Lin was unselfish and didn't score. McHale let Beverley play important minutes. Both PGs that shoot, shot the ball with more confidence and weren't afraid to make plays or take big shots

Lin's struggles have nothing to do with McHale simply telling him not to shoot. They have to do with Lin's unwillingness to assert himself/be "more selfish" in the offense or nut up and hit big shots.. which is why McHale tried to give burn to players who would at least try.

That's because McFail wants Lin to play the way he plays now.

Lin had burst onto the scene with Linsanity precisely due to his PnR game and adept driving abilities. However, Mcfail wants Lin to concentrate on being a spot-up shooter with reduced ball-handling opportunities, and doesn’t even run effective screens on plays. Logically, Lin won’t be able to play well and attain similar levels of success. It seems that Morey signed Lin with a different interpretation of his role as what McFail has in mind now.

Man, you sound like those LOFs defending Lin's TOs--his knee isn't healed, it's a result of him handling the ball a lot, he has the flu. Harden had a good offensive game like he always does which gives him some leeway, but his D is terrible and 7 possessions given away is always a contributor to losing. Yeah, you can call it a team loss, in the sense that every loss is a team loss.

Yes... He disappears for long stretches and I am not entirely sure why.

McHale needs to go I'm sick of his negative attitude towards developing young players its as if he thinks your young you have no chance to be great... Then that causes the players to think more than to naturally play. Small ball got us back into this game had a six point lead then stayed small. Put the big guys in the paint and rebound and hold the ball and run out the clock. It's not all on McHale players made a lot of mistakes but this game could have been controlled from a coaching perspective way better than it was.

All this talk about Lin, Parsons, Harden... what about Delfino? 5-14 including 1-6 from 3 for a spot-up shooter isn't going to cut it.

He won't. He will mention turnovers as a team. He won't bad mouth Harden like he does Lin.

Besides, how many victories has Harden lead this team to...???

Harden just had a "LeBron James" type month. So I seriously doubt McHale will go off on his 23 year old star player because he went turnover crazy. But he had steals and assist as well so that kinda made up for it..

And I agree with you.. Asik was fantastic..

of coz, he is not allowed to hit home runs. baseball fans don't pay much attention on singles and/or doubles.

Thank you! I would rather have James Anderson in. He fills up the box score and is actually a plus denfender

Cause he still hasn't learned to play off the ball. Pretty obvious.

Mchale should let Lin play more PG, and Harden play SG.

Lin always got more Assist in first half because he plays more PG.
