Too many haters on this forum, you guys sound like a bunch women complaining, where's the love and support? This is your team these are your players. Like them or not but just show some respect and support your damn team
That's because every time he has a standout game, McHale criticizes him for it. I think tonight Lin played exactly at the level McHale wants him to play, he wants to make sure 'Linsanity' was a fluke and that his original judgement of Lin is correct.
didnt watch the gm looking from the box score, seen harden had a lot of TOs. let me guess...were they running isos all gm? lin throwing up bricks? delfino at 4?
I don't know about the whole first half but at least a little bit more and milk everybody's hot hand.
Ohhhhhhh so THAT's WhY he doesn't score. God the WHITE MAMBA must be the best in the NBA. Kevin Durant is a selfish sob.
Jennings shot was lucky. Rockets effectively are still playing with only 4 real starters. In this game coaching tried to work DMo into the starting lineup, and Robinson into the team. I don’t think it’s easy trying to work two new guys into a team more than half way into the season. For his first start in that spot, I thought DMo did quite well; the 5 assists were impressive, and his length could be a big plus going forward. It was only Robinson’s first game, so it’ll be interesting to see how quickly he learns the system. There were some costly TOs tonight when the game was close. When Lin is in the game, it really helps to take the pressure off of Harden to run plays for other players, and just lets him focus on scoring. I think too many times the team has Harden, Parsons, or Delfino run the ball. Maybe that’s a byproduct of their offense, but I’m not sure if it’s productive in the long run. The team still lacks a backup PG who’s also a good facilitator, so that when he’s in with Harden, Harden doesn’t have to worry much about finding plays for other players. Right now Beverley is a boost on defense and once in a while on offense, but there’s really not another PG on the team that is a good backup when Lin rests. One of Houston’s biggest weaknesses is still overall defense. In addition, Rockets’ bench is still too weak, especially when Delfino doesn’t shoot well. Bucks bench almost doubled Rockets’ bench in points 42-23.
One tried to pin Lin on his defense on Ellis on that last shot. One tried to pin Lin on his whole 2 TOs of the game.
free flaw offense is fun to watch but it can't win ballgames especially come play off time.If the coaching staff can incorporate some set plays during time outs and w/ a dedication to play defence i believe that we can be a very good basketball team, I hope this will happen next year.
No. This game he didn't just defer to Harden, he also deferred to Parsons. I can never understand why he defers to Parsons. Harden, yes, but not Parsons.
Harden was by far our best player tonight (perhaps outside of Asik) and he was basically playing on one leg. The only reason we had a chance to win the game at the end is because of Harden, idk why you think they "failed" tonight. The Rockets as a team failed.
They are blaming it on him lol Somehow they are blaming Jeremy's "defense". I could've sworn he was defending Jennings 'til the end and locked him up nicely. I guess they want him to guard Harden's man as well
Because he's always so effin good that most of us fans can cut him some slack when he doesn't have a good game...
I didn't watch the game, but that sounds like exactly what McHale told Lin to do. Did we win, McHale?
