Off night for Harden and Lin. Asik scores the team's high with 18 points. DMO benched after flubbing a wide open dunk. Ellis and Jennings explode to prove they are both max-worthy players for a combined 75 points and 25 assists.
Thanks for the info, guys. Hmm, both Anderson and Gacia can hit 3s, both can play defense and some ball handling. I'm really not sure who I would prefer to play more minutes. But McHale seems to prefer vets usually. Let's see what will happen tonight. Man, tonight game feels like we are playing a new team. Can't wait.
Garcia can't really play much defense anymore. The combination of age and wear has robbed him of his quickness. Your guess is as good as mine there. LOL. Poor man's E'Twuan Moore? I have no idea compared to I have no idea. Ironically I have watched a lot more Garcia than Anderson.
I doubt Garcia gets much playing time since we must likely are cutting him after this season. Anderson knows the system better and he's actually pretty decent.
I guess this whole GS/Pacers fiscal is benefiting the Knicks and Rockets to a degree. Lee is out for the Knicks game tonight and Hibbert is out for the Clippers game. Go Lin and Rockets!
Asik will be shut down by Sanders and DMo will have his hands full with Moute, but Parsons, Harden, and our bench should come up big. I expect parsons to hold Ersan in check, but I am concerned about our back court's ability to limit Ellis and Jennings. Two hungry teams, but Id give the edge to Houston because we're well-rested and Bucks are coming off of a back-to-back. Not an easy win for us by any means.
Personally, I am mostly concerned about how many dunks and layups the Bucks' bigs will have off of D-Mo's "help" defense.
Remember it was Ellis bricking things in the 2nd half to allow the Rockets to come back. But very true....if Ellis and Jennings don't shoot themselves it could be a tough game...not to mention the addition of JJ...
Defending guards has always been a matter of channelling to your inside help. On this I am sad to say that D-Mo has a long way to go still. I sincerely hope that we do not have D-Mo backing up Asik at the 5. If we play D-Mo at the 5 for substantial minutes, Monta/BJ/JJ will eat us alive. Hopefully T-Rob will back up Asik in Smith's absence.
Lin 20 minutes, Beverley 28 minutes. Lin 12 to 6 mintutes on Q1 (6minutes) Beverley 6 to 0 on Q1, continue 12 to 8 on Q2 (10 minutes) Lin 8 to 2 Q2 (6 minutes) Beveley 2 to 0 Q2, continue 12 to 8 (6 minutes) Q3 Lin 8 to 2 Q3 (6 minuts) Beverley 2 to 0 on Q3, contine 12 to 2 (12 minutes) Q4 Buck blows out Rockets Lin back in for garbage time 2 to 0 Q4(2 minutes)
I had no idea that Lin only fans were so obsessed. I say we win and that all of our players have good nights. This thread is full of such pessimism.
This is the first post I saw when I clicked on last page.... Thought I was in the twilight zone and the game was over Sat here and had to calculate the time zone difference to realize WTH lol I go the opposite way.... Harden/Lin on fire = Combine for 75 hehehe Rockets win bigggggggggggggggggg as we have at least 7 guys in double figures And I see Omer and DMo both have double-doubles Is this even possible lol I am a firm believer in positive thinking
