Not sure if serious, but I am not "analyzing" his quote. What Mchale said is basic English that any native English speaker should understand. It's not open to interpretation because there's nothing to interpret. Mchale said Lin would rather score a lot of points (29 to be specific) and get a ton of turnovers (9 to be specific) than have the team win. Again, it's BASIC ENGLISH that ANY AMERICAN SHOULD UNDERSTAND. Or, maybe the educational system in our country is really that broken...

So you're not done with me? Goody-gum-drops!

I didn't attack anyone, I just said that you putting something in quotes doesn't mean you didn't say it. What I was getting at is that the quote you put up didn't have "bath salts" in it and the person didn't even use that to describe LOF's like you said, but just as a specific remark to the fact that BleedRed had gone crazy with the number of posts in this thread....

As for actually addressing my points that aren't childish grammar attacks from a non-native speaker (hilarious IMO), how do you feel about what Jeremy's defender does on help side D? Didn't get any response to that. How about addressing my point that Jeremy seems to handle criticism like a grown-up, and his fans strangely don't follow his lead? Didn't get any response to that either. Thanks in advance.

So this is Lin's 3rd season in the league, so he's been around; just hasn't gotten the deserved respect from people to be played more, but anyway: then he should be just as harsh toward Asik, who often has 3-5 TO's game, even though he rarely touches the ball, and causes Lin/Harden to have unnecessary turnovers b/c of his butterfingers.

LOL, or maybe he should take Parsons out of the game when he's shooting 3/11 with 4 turnovers. Hell, how about yell at Beverley in public to his face like he does for Lin for making bone-headed plays. Hmmmmm???

That's not what I'm saying...All I'm saying is that all coaches = human = bias...whether a player is rookie or veteran.

He called Beverly a ball hog the other day, and then went on about some of his mistakes.....

Turrible example. Lin averages more mpg than Asik 33 vs 30 mpg. Asik is often taken out of games in favor of small ball even though he is the best rebounder/defender on the team.

Have you actually been to a game? I have been to quite a few this season and I have never seen him treat Lin differently than any other one on the team at the game. I think a lot is taken out of context to fit people's agendas.

Dude, that's because Asik is a gaping offensive liability. The guy cannot post-up a 6'0 guard if his life depended on it. I mean...have you seen the number of "shots" that clang off the backboard or hit nothing but air?!? You've got to be crazy to leave that guy in for offense during crunchtime.

And you're a genius, LOL. I was talking about YELLING TO IN PUBLIC, not MPG.

Yes, because he yells at EVERY ROCKETS PLAYER like they're trash as they head to the bench with their 2nd TO of the game, while scoring points efficiently with 4 assists.

What part of YELL IN PUBLIC TO HIS FACE do you not understand? Sheesh, maybe I overestimated the English ability of CF posters.

Figured you meant respect as well. Anyways Asik's positives far outweighs his negatives. Even with his "offensive liability" dude is .536 from the field. He is 4th in rebounds and his an extremely good defender which is what the Rockets need.

McHale yells at everyone, even the officials, he flirts with Ts almost every game. That's how he is, like I said you actually see it when you are at a game.

Everything you said here is anecdotal, which I can easily counter by saying McHale has been extremely lenient towards Lin. Case in point the game against the Wizards, Lin was having a horrible game but Beverly had a much better game. Instead of letting Beverly stay in the game, he put Lin back in. Flash back to the game against Lakers, Asik was kept on the bench whiles McHale stayed with Greg Smith in the 4th quarter. McHale obviously hates Asik and favors Smith so much more.

See how easy it is to piece together bits and pieces of observations and proclaim mistreatment?

And why do people keep thinking Lin somehow deserves a high level of respect from everyone in the league? Respect is earned. His underdog story is amazing, and I'm sure a lot of players have gained new found respect for him, but that doesn't automatically put him above a ton of other players who have had far more experience and achievements under their belt.

So if some of you Lin fans think Lin is still technically a rookie and has tons of room to go, that's great! I think so too. But don't complain if McHale is harsh towards him or if Lin doesn't get the respect a veteran normally would, considering the fact that other rookies on this team don't even get the chance to see the floor.

In conclusion, McHale says he loves Lin as a player, and Lin says he sees McHale as a fatherly figure. Stop overreacting to one out-of-context quote that was reported by one tabloid media source.

Asik only had one offseason to develop his offense. In Chicago, he was strictly a defensive role player off the bench, nothing more. To go from bench defense guy to starting center, is a huge leap. I'd give Omer another season to judge. Hopefully he can work on a mid-range jumper in addition to post moves.

Seriously! I think the media is creating drama since they know that certain people are eating it up... media gets more viewers, more ratings, more comments, etc. they don't care about anything else. Since when does the media report everything accurately? People will take what this media says over what people like Jason Friedman or Jonathan Feigen, who actually are with Jeremy Lin and Coach McHale day in and day out. Like I said they believe what fits their agenda.

You would think a quote from McHale calling Lin selfish would be all over the internet/media by now instead it's only in one NY newspaper and no one cares about it except some Clutchfan members.

I'm not done because you simply keeping spewing nonsense back to me. Keep spinning, mister. Why don't you address the two posts first? How many time do I have to re-post before I get a reply from you on those specific posts which explained everything about the "quote" situation? You do know that unless you address the below posts, there is no way you can spin it, do you?
