Very encouraging! If he turns out to be that good, Morey hit a homerun.

    1. Stop talking about Lin.
    2. Del3ino and James Anderson aren't scrubs.
    3. Why did you bring Lin into the conversation
    4. That how trade works. Or you won't have enough players to fill your team.
    5. That's how trade works/AKA unloading contracts/AKA salary cap situations
    6. Beverly will play point. James Harden will play point.

Sacramento...where power forwards go to die. Thomas Robinson must be a beast to put up the little stats that he did. Look at Patrick's line the past 2 games. Absolutely pathetic. 0 points and 1 rebound last night in 10 minutes. 2 points in only 2 minutes the game before. This from a guy that has averaged between 12-15 points per game all year long in less than 26 minutes per game on impressive percentages. Their misuse of Patterson already is making me even more optimistic that Robinson might yet be a baller. Not to mention Chuck Hayes is underutilized after they paid him all that money and they nearly ruined JJ Hickson's career last year and now he is a walking double double.

Lin = BJ Armstrong... Harden = a self of Michael Jordan... Chandler Parsons = white version of Scottie Pippen... Thomas Robinson = a perfect blend of Horace Grant and Dennis Rodman... Omer Asik = I'm better than Luc Longley... D-Mo = Toni Kukoc... I guess Carlos Delfino can act like Steve Kerr and Paxton.

To be fair, PPat must feel like the interpretor character from "Saving Private Ryan" who's suddenly given a machine gun and asked to take the point in storming a Nazi command post.

But yes, Sacramento is a highly dysfunctional organization and I believe TRob, with the proper coaching and playing time, will AT WORST be a Carl Landry, and at best....well, who knows? Maybe a Kenyon Martin without the "oh, man, maybe I shouldn't have smoked that s*** before the game" expression on his face?

If this is any indication of what the coach thinks of him and how they plan to use him, I genuinely feel sorry for Patterson. Marcus Morris isn't doing much better. The logjam they have at PF in PHX could only be rivaled by our own lol. To be fair, maybe those teams actually have plays that need to be learned lol. I'm very interested to see how this is going to play out. Our supposed 2 top big forwards getting hardly any run on two of the worst squads in the whole league. I went on record along with others a few months ago though that I thought Patterson and Morris where being showcased while our higher potential guys were kept off the radar. I think 2Pat is a good player. If only he could rebound better, he might still be a Rocket. I really like the offense he brings, but Sac has him looking like a D league call up.

Delfino is Kukoc (Parsons actually would compare with Kukoc more than anybody).

Really.... go stand there next to him, look up at him, and tell him that he's small.

Gotta agree with Cstyle on the Kukoc comp. Remember that Toni Kukoc was 6-11 with that skill set. Six freaking eleven!

D-Mo has gotten comps to Kukoc by several people in the know (although he doesn't have Kukoc's ball-handling and passing ability just yet).

Delfino is a 6-7 swingman with a versatile skill set (shooting, defense, some ball-handling). But there are plenty of players who fit that description. Not many of them are 6-11.

Kidding. Sent that from my phone and apparently the emoticon that I thought I touched wasn't chosen lol. I think given his wingspan, strength, and athletic ability that he is plenty big.

Going forward, I think the Rockets need a big man who can play both a fast pace and a half court offense, which requires more skill and post up scoring ability.

There will be times when defenses force the Rox to slow down and play in the half court, can T. Robinson be that go-to guy inside with 5 sec. on the shot clock ?

Yeah I had a feeling you did. I just find that it hilarious that people are so worried about the inch or half and inch he might give up to someone in the post. If you or I were in a dark alley and he said "Hey you" we would run for our lives or just crap our pants.

Even by NBA standards, he's going to be David West-like size wise in a few seasons given his frame. I'll take that any day over some 6'11" lurch who can barely run in a straight line and bench 150 pounds. This dude will be more than able to handle banging around in the post.

When they measured Thomas Robinson 6'7.75" at the NBA combine he must have been levitating like David Blaine.
