i think Asik and Dmo are pretty good buddies by now, they came first in Houston training camp about month before anyone else came, and practiced pretty much 1on1, this benefied them both greatly imo. I think Dmo wont have any problem scoring this or any other games. I think coaching staff sees Dmo is ready. Though going from 2minutes per game to starting position in a matter of week is kinda flustering for him i bet. He need to be composed and play not for stats, but for team.

Not much he did, small sample maybe. Or maybe it's about lengh difference of nba/europe free-throw.

Asik's rebound numbers are going to take a hit.

Lol @ everyone who thinks that D-MO is Nowitzski right away, he is our 2nd-4th scoring option.

They slipped because teams failed miserably with similar players in prior drafts. Some of these similar players just happened to be lottery picks playing the same position and had the same skin color. These players were lottery picks for good reason. The guys who I'm referring to are below.

They drop and get overlooked for good reason. Blame the guys below. For one reason or another these guys failed. BIG TIME.

Luke says Hi. I was a big fan of his since he was a Duck. He was a traditional SF with good size and a 35in vertical. He had no real weakness. A nice jumper with 3 point range, could put the ball on the floor, good rebounder and passer and high basketball IQ. I remember Iggy was picked right before him. If they both reversed careers and Jackson went on to have a career like Iggy did/does I wouldn't have been surprised. Jackson was that good.

Adam says don't call it a comeback. "The great white hope." "The next Larry Bird." "A shorter Dirk Nowitzki." Those were just some of the terms being thrown around pre-draft. Yeah...

Ni Hao. Was supposed to be the next Shawn Marion. Super athletic player, with great size and length, quick, explosive, hard worker, smart. BUST.

There you have it..Examples of 3 very different guys from a stylistic standpoint but all had killer college careers, were great at atleast 1 thing if not multiple things, played small forward, and were busts who happened to be white. Surely, you didn't expect all 3 of them to be out of the league after just a season or two. I sure as hell didn't. I would've thought worst case scenario they'd be role players/journeymen. You take Parsons and Bud who were never the prospects compared to those guys and it's easier to see why they slipped.

I'm pretty sure there were even more black guys who were total busts in NBA, but nobody talks about them since there's so much good black players. Everyone seems to forget the turds.

I just woke up. I had a dream that DMo had 51 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Some info from Motiejunas interview conducted three days ago:

Doesn't feel like NBA is much harder than European basketball.
Him and Asik were the only ones in Houston for a month before the season and were training 1-on-1.
Very disappointed with his limited playing time as he felt he has done everything coaches asked and is glad that he has gotten more exposure recently.
Would still gladly play in D-League.

It generally felt like he knew his time was up and couldn't wait much longer. Oozing with frustration mixed with confidence.

Missed a few bits from other one:

He was PROBABLY willing to get traded, but basically said he had very little impact on anything FO does.
Really appreciates help from Karnisovas(scout). Side note - I got a feeling he is going to get promoted :D
Team itself is mature and there are no internal conflicts. Some rookie got his locker filled with popcorn.
He is Delfino and Asik's adopt-a-rookie. Other rooks get abused by elders (jokingly, ofc)

The D-Mo bandwagon was hopped upon by a bunch of us more experienced posters 18 months ago. Maybe we have intimidated the more rabid fans so far. I do not expect that it will last much longer though. It seems to me that the 2012'ers are constantly looking for a fight.

I hope DMo is ready defensively. I hope he works hard on the defensive glass.

Offensively, let's just say that I think DMo will provide a huge lift to the offense.

D-Mo should be worried because Bucks are good defensively, and probably are first in blocks/game :)
