Apparently, this includes Morey himself. If you look at the order of his picks

Brooks Landry Some white Euro stash
    Taylor Llul Budinger
    Morris DMo Parsons

In every draft where he has drafted both white and black players, the black people went first. Perhaps subliminal bias at work?

    /not serious

No I wasn't joking. The data is indifferent to our personal feelings about the issue. Perhaps they noticed a trend where white players were being undervalued in some instances (why did Parsons/Budinger fall?).

It's easy enough to throw that variable into your algorithm like any other physical attribute and see if a trend is revealed.

To be clear, this is not an argument for racial superiority, but rather against perceived racial inferiority (even if it is subconscious and without ill intent).

The next time Morey does a radio talk show, twitter thingy or the like, ask him, and then post his response. His answer would be interesting.

Ok,lets say they drop like stones as u suggest, what happens when they get the chance to prove out? What has jimmer,jj,chase, joe alexander, tyler hansborough done to warrants not being overlooked? David Lee,Kaman (when healthy) kevin love, have been really good players. If gms can find a green dude from haiti who can flat out play, they're not passing him. Guys like dunleavy jr, troy murphy were high picks and were solid players. I'm not buying it

Maybe its because Budinger and Parsons didnt assert themselves the year they came out of the draft, Parsons wasnt a good shooter at Florida, and didnt test out that well in the combines.

Nobody knew Parsons would be this good, Budinger on the other hand is a just a 3 point shooter( not a very good ballhandler), and his defense has never been that good( which is why Morey traded him). Budinger would be giving us what Delfino is giving us right now

start the video from 0:41-0:55 and see what Jay Bilas says about Parsons

also how do you explain guys like Gordon Hayward, Luke Babbitt, and Jimmer Fredette going high in the draft

If Dmo can improve his defense, I think the core will be set.

That makes sense, but your post was a little ambiguous and could be taken two different ways. Thus the request for clarification.

I thought he play well in the summer league.....and then all of a sudden he didn't get to play much during regular season and had to be sent to D-League. The same w/ Terrence Jones. I hope Jones blossom as well. I don't know if these guys don't get to play due to lack of understanding of the play sets or what.

D-Mo is our wild card down the stretch. Hasn't played much this season so teams don't know what to expect. They won't know what hit them...

I think he was referring to
    1) Shorter players but with long wingspan
    2) Less athletic but smart players
    3) Elite role players
    4) Importance of cheap role players
    5) Players with a niche - whether it is defense or 3pt shooting or getting you efficient shots (by himself or facilitating for)
