Somehow I missed this trailer... didn't think they'd make a full length movie out of Jack and the Beanstalk. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/s8XEDol0jMw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
hmmm tempting. Haven't wanted to see anything in the theaters in a long time. This might get me to waste some cash.
I guess with the super hero movies dying a little bit, this will be the next Hollywood fad.... taking fairy tales and making them into Twilight or Lord of the Rings.
Could be good because of Bryan Singer, though I did not like Superman Returns. Could be good because of Ian McShane. Just recently started watching Dead Wood and he is great in that. Probably will watch.
[Cinema] Jack The Giant Slayer Apparently this was pushed back an entire year, because it sucks. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tEuTxD2UFdM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That is definitely not how I remember the story going haha. But seriously this movie seems like it was expensive to make and will probably be a huge flop at the BO.
No wonder it didn't show up on search. They replaced "Killer" with "Slayer." How family friendly of them.
Color me surprised, getting good reviews! http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/jack_the_giant_slayer/ Comparing it to the Hobbit? I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.
Seems a little boring, but might see if it's no longer than 90 minutes. If it's one of those 2hr+ then no gracias.
I saw the trailer at the local Alamo Drafthouse and was kind of stunned afterwards. I guess my reaction was along the lines of, "Did they really make a flick like this and it's not from Disney?? It looks trippy." If something looks trippy to me, more often than not, it means I like it.
Actually might sway me to see it, I've been on the fence about it. I can't make up my mind if it looks good or stupid, I do like the cast though.
